I do not believe that these will stack with racials. The only thing that makes sense to me, is this will even out the playing field, but if you have a racial bonus, you do not need to wear these to have quicker gathering for the specified profession/racial (faster herbing for Tauren's and faster skinning for Worgan's).

When the race change service was added, small tweeking was done to some racials, such as the faster herb gathering for Tauren's. My logic to this is that it was incentive for some Tauren's not to do a race chance (mainly druids, as they do not need to shapeshift to pick herbs).

i don't think it was done so people didn't stop being taurens i think its just wow sticking it to us again that tauren druids are the ultimate herbalists and should be shot on sight. Also how do you get these?

The Mist Piercing Goggles say "Equip:", but you don't need to equip them to benefit. Does the same rule apply for these? It would be great, especially since you can't put them on in combat, and it might help.

Initially i was VERY excited for these gloves for my tauren druid. "INSTANT HERBING!" i thought to myself.
then i read commentary here stating "does not stack with Cultivation"

These gloves not stacking with Cultivation is a bit of a slap to Tauren herbers.

I farming Torros for the hands i killed about 10 times.
My Experience is the mob respawn is around 1.5 hour.

The hands reduces the loot time 1,7 sec from 3,5 i think the same in herb but i m tauren so dont know.
And if you Tauren cant loot the mine in fly form.

Just finished testing these gloves on 200 casts while fishing (100 with, 100 without) and found absolutely no appreciable difference.
Does not affect fishing.

Made an account to post this, regarding fishing.

These gloves DO NOT affect fishing speed. People above were commenting that these gloves make casts "8 seconds faster".
I tested this myself. 50 casts with the gloves and 50 without, in open inland water in Kun-lai.

Average time taken to catch a fish WITH gloves = 14.84 sec
Average time taken WITHOUT gloves = 14.92 sec

This is not a statistically significant difference.

FINALLY! Stopped farming Korda Torros 2 weeks ago because of a chronic problem of getting ganked from Allies at their base 5 feet away from where he spawns. Had killed him twice before on my own but gloves did not drop. My 6th attempt and 3rd time solo resulted in the gloves finally dropping.

I use my druid as my resource gatherer since herbing while in flight form is just too dope, mining takes only about 1 second now as these gloves definitely make things faster.

Fishing is kinda hit and miss. I have noticed some faster catch times but haven't played with it enought to determine if these gloves speed fishing up. Blizz is always tweaking things so they may not have helped fishing before but who knows what the future brings...................

The spawn time is about 45-90 min. As long as you keep clearing the rares late at night, the spawn will never pass about 60 min. I managed to get these gloves after the 7-8th kill, and they dropped alongside a pair of bracers (so 2 blue drops from 1 kill).

Korda Torros' spawn point is located directly in front of the burning totem pole in the far western section of the camp where the quest npc Akonu the Embercaller is located.

If you position yourself directly between the oil pump and the totem pole you can tag him without getting any adds. Just drop off the short cliff behind you and you have a clear field of battle. If you can't get a shot in from a short distance to grab him you may have to keep the area clear of only 2 mobs. Spawn timer for my kills was about 75 minutes.

Unlike the mist-piercing goggles, you have to have these equipped to get the benefit of the gloves, making many of us decide whether we want to swap out the stats on our actual gloves if we have to get into a fight around a node. Not to mention putting our gloves back on after we're done farming.

I was really hoping I could just hold them in my bags.

Maybe it's just me but I wish the benefit of these gloves (as they are) would apply anywhere, not just Pandaria :(
... considering the time put in and dedication required to get one of these.

Making them BoA or BoE would be pointless since your level 1 miner, skinner or herbalist wouldn't gain any benefit, obviously until level 85 BUT making them be backwards compatible, say "faster gathering of resources including Pandaria" and next expansion come up with something similar, like an upgrade or something.

Either that or making them forwards compatible would also do it in my opinion. If these are beneficial exclusively in MoP then may as well name them "Pandaria Gloves" instead of Forager's (refers to Gatherer) Gloves which sounded very promising.

It may be a smart idea to put a profession-buffing enchant, such as +5 mining/skinning/herbalism (or +5 fishing like I put on mine, to fit in with my fishing gear), so that once MoP passes, it will still be useful elsewhere (and if you wish to farm more MoP mats, even better)!

I got these from my first korda kill :) which works great for me because i was on my warrior who just so happens to be a mine/herb gatherer! wearing these gloves makes gathering an herb .5 seconds! and an ore vein 1.5 seconds! these things are quite handy, i just wish they had some stats on em cuz im tempted to wear them 24/7!

Although no "Same model as" tab is currently available on Wowhead (as of 5.2), I've been able with some luck (and magic!) to locate the following exact lookalikes:

藤蔓手套 (early Night Elf starting zone quest reward)
法师手套 (low level world drop)
蛮沼手套 (Outland drop)

They're all Cloth and you'll be able to find plenty color variations in their respective "Same model as" tabs, which they do have, so I have no idea why this doesn't.

I got mine on 2 chars on like 6th-7th kill on each char, it's not really hard i am on a high pop server and still manage to kill it, just fly ur char above spawn area and log out and every now and then log in, NPCScan will help 2, Good luck for everyone, my friend got it yest from first try so don't give up

I got the gloves off a Burning Berserker today, on my main that doesn't have any gathering professions. They are located on the Timeless Isle, coods 70.8 , 47.2 ( The Blazing Way). I can upload a picture if necessary for proof.

I got mining profession. Ive tried so hard to farm them, ive killed Korda Torros, the rare boss who drop the gloves, 27 times. I Know it cuz i got 27 item from him. No gloves. Why? There is a reason for that

Tonight on wowbusters: Forager's Gloves say they will protect you from rocks, we will see what happens when we jump from our flying mount onto a big rock!

..It did not go as planned, my hp reached zero and I died, leading to a rare sickness called the ressurection sickness. We are unsure what might have caused this, but beware heroes of azeroth!

After finally getting my very own 劫匪的手套, I was immediately frustrated by the constant need to Equip/Unequip them. Shortly after that, the Equipped Forager Addon was born. No more hassle, but all the gain from the Gloves!

It automatically manages equipping of the Gloves a split second before you need them to be equipped to benefit from them. And then automatically re-equips your normal gloves afterwards.

I hope all of you can benefit from finally being able to use the Gloves without the hassle of equipping them first!

ive found that its very hard to have them drop for a toon that doesnt have a 500+ profession level, ive only attacked Korda Torros but well over 15 times... im going to attempt killing him more after lvl 500 mining for an update to this

The drops on the Timeless Isle are not for the faint of heart either. I have seen it many times on my main grinding to exalted at Blazing Way, but on my gathering toon I grinded from 0 rep to 2000 and still haven't seen it. The Big Bag of herbs is supposed to have the same drop rate but I have seen that 5 times! RNG can be heartless :(

this item needs to be Bound on Account. I just got it with my Dwarf Shaman. but he has JC and Enchanting Pro. and since it doesnt stack with Dwarf's racial skill, which is faster survey speed, this glove has no use. :(

It is better to farm elite on timeless isle instead of the rare.
Rare spawn is about 30min-2hours and usually it like 1hour+-. Killed it 9 times and still didn't get it. Took me 3 days to kill it 9 times (pretty unlucky-too many people farming the spot). Then I went to isle and get it on 1st kill on one char, on 10th+- on another char and somewhere around 2nd hour of farming on 3rd one.
Why is Elite better then rare:
In 1 hour (respawn time) you may kill like 50-70elites (maybe more maybe less depend on your gear) on timeless you can use a lot of buffs to kill it faster like 25% all stats or crit/mas/has + 8k stat etc.
The chance to drop is 0,8%*50 kills=40% which means you have more then 4 times chance to get them then on rare.
And along the farm you get reputation/golds/drops/coins.
I hope this will help some1.

I know it's been said once, but it bears repeating: These gloves drastically reduce the cast time for Survey (Archaeology). This is a pro-tip for anyone who's flying around Pandaria working on the archaeology grind.

(Other archae tips include using a Scuttler's Shell to reduce your aggro radius, and to use the Halloween broom mount which is insta-cast.)

These are still working as intended pre-patch for Midnight expansion.

Reduces the time for mining from 3.75 seconds down to 2 seconds. This may not seem like a lot, but for mass farming on ghost iron in Pandaria, if you go out and farm 1000 ore, that's nearly 30 minutes of time you save, and that adds up.

A couple of notes: these gloves do NOT work for bamboo lumber. Bamboo lumber is not tied to any harvesting profession, as such anyone can retrieve bamboo lumber. The gloves are specifically tied to mining and herbalism.

If you go into Vale of Eternal Blossoms, you may notice that your mining is 3.75 seconds even with the Forager's Gloves on, this is due to the Vale being phased to the Battle for Azeroth timeline. So the gloves aren't recognizing the area as a Mist of Pandara area.

Go to 80.56, 32.10 and you'll find Zidormi, talk to her. Select "Can you show me what the Vale was like before the Black Empire assault?" and that will take the vale back to what it was like during MoP, and you'll have your faster gathering glove buff back :)
