Unfortunately, these are a very common drop and you can expect to get no more than a gold or two, at best, on the auction house. I've actually had to vendor a couple of these after using one to learn it myself.

I managed to nab a mighty 6 of these patterns through only friendly to revered with Timbermaw Hold.
It's quite a job actaully finding buyers for them though! :(

I've had four of these during the last week or so grinding Timbermaw rep. I even asked a GM about the drop rate, apparently it's fine that a Rare recipe drops more frequently than all other rares put together.

I got two of these in a single clear of Felpaw Village...I'll be happy to sell them for 5g each, but on my server I'm probably just gonna have to vendor them :(.

I was grinding rep for timbermaw and ended up getting 6 of them within only one reputation level. (Honored) Kinda dissapointing.

Do you have to be a LW for this pattern to drop?

As a level 80 DK, I sliced through these guys like butter and was able to kill very many of them. I killed dozens and dozens of the Shaman and didn't get a single Pattern to drop. From what I read, I sure didn't expect this!

Edit: Finally, after well over 100 Shaman's killed, the pattern dropped. Time to take a break!

One item of interest is that when looking this item up on the new armory http://www.battle.net/wow it says the mobs it drops from are in Azshara Crater. Funny seeing they never actually implemented that zone it would say that on the official site.

I parked my druid at Timbermaw to kill a few waves and didn't get it. Then it appeared in the AH. I swooped it up without hesitation, created the leggings, and moved on to questing. Now I'm farming the AH for the other lousy drop: Ironfeather Breastplate.

o, d thread I know. but the drop rate sucks for this pattern. I dont care about the rep, I just want the pattern. on thrall its sellinb for 800g. After many sweeps of the felpaw village.....still no pattern. so definitely not a common drop.

...I've had this drop twice in one night, and have gotten probably 10 of these while grinding Timbermaw faction...

End up vendoring them every time now; haven't sold a set on the AH since the early days on our server - VERY common pattern.

I had 2 drop in one night and then another 2 the following morning while grinding for Timbermaw rep.

While this is a common pattern I sold 3 of them (first I gave to a guildie) on the AH for 2g each.

Leatherworkers often get to the skill level needed for this pattern (285) way before they are high enough level to get the pattern for themselves in Felwood.

I hate frikkin furbolgs.....damn you Blizzard for making us grind so long (even with raid groups to help) to get this faction rep!

While common, they are easily sold, as they create the pre-raid BiS for Druids.

over a period of 4 short days grinding i had 12 of these in my backpack, sold 3 to randoms over trade channel in IF 3G each, 5 on AH for 4G bid, 3 on AH for 8G BO, and one for myself :D

overall came to 53G for only 4 days grinding makes me a happy druid :D

These fall under the elemental leatherworking trade, but are not specific to elemental. The pattern would say "Requires Elemental Leatherworking". My NE is Dragonscale and can make this pattern.
