I remember clicking a red button which was a selfdestruction mechanism with lots of fire. Did Blizzard make a second Mimiron fight? I hope it is, because I loved Ulduar.

"This is one of the hardest achievements so far so I will go into a bit of detail for how to complete it.
During your encounter with Xin he will activate several traps in the room. Starting with Axes as you engage him, Blades as he reaches 66% health, and Crossbows at 33%.
When these crossbow traps activate two crystals will spawn along with them in their mouths, roughly 30 seconds appart. One in the Front Left of the room, and one at the Back Right of the room.
You'll know when this happens as you will see the emote of 'You hear a faint clicking noise...'
When a crystal is clicked on by a player they will each fire a red beam at the crossbow trap in the Back Left of the room, lighting up one of it's eyes.
If you click both crystals in opposite corners of the room together, it lights up both eyes of the crossbow trap and allows you to use a newly formed crystal, to fire it at Xin.
For our successful attempt we placed the healer in the middle of the room (as the crystal clickers are standing in the mouths of active crossbow traps) and placed the tank in front of the activating weapon trap in the Back Left."

ok this achievment is showing in my Glory of the Cataclysm Hero, but looks like its a Pandarian one..how come ?

The buttons spawn in the front left side of the room and the back right in those lion heads - when you face the boss.

Assign two player for clicking the crystals
Wait for both crystals to spawn, since you have only a small timeframe to activate the second crystal before the first one shatters. The crystals spawn in the Blade Traps' mouth (those lionhead statues on the wall).
They should spawn at 66% and 33%.
Get both clicker into position. They have to dodge every trap, but still take some damage due to the Arrow Traps from the ceiling.
A healer in middle of the room, or hybrid classes like shaman or druid ease this even more, since they are able to heal themselves against this damage.
Click both crystals, a red line spawns and enjoy the lightshow.
Killing the boss is not even needed for this achievement.

Just did this on my warlock.

Put my demonic gateway nearish each crystal (room is slightly larger than 70yds) When the crossbows activated, clicked one, ran through gateway clicked the other, and done.

Easy.

This achievement will NOT be awarded if you tank the boss against the room's entrance where lazy tanks like to hang out. He must be IN the room, presumably so the secret weapon can actually hit him.

My guildmates and I finally achieved this after several failed attempts. There's valuable information here but for some reason I just couldn't understand. Here is exactly how we did it:

Before I explain, if you look around the room, there are 4 lion-like statue heads mounted on the wall. They shoot out daggers during the boss fight. The red gems spawn in the mouth. You only have to keep an eye on the NORTHWEST mouth and the SOUTHEAST mouth (refer to minimap). It's best to assign two people, one for each location when it's ready to click.

1. Start fight > DPS boss like normal.

2. At 66% health, a red gem will spawn on either the NW or SE location (for us, it spawned at the SE location first. I didn't pay attention if it always spawned here first or not, but that doesn't matter since you will always have the same two locations spawn gems in the end). LEAVE IT ALONE.

3. Continue DPSing boss until 33%, second red gem will spawn in the opposite corner of the first red gem. You should now have two red gems, one at the SE mouth and one at the NW mouth.

4. Clickers went to their assigned spots and coordinated clicking it them at the same time. I believe you only have a few seconds to click the second gem once the first one is clicked so make sure they time it well. One of our failures was because one of our members kept getting knocked away by the whirling axes that were near the mouth so he couldn't click it in time.

5. If you did this correctly, a red beam should be shooting out from both mouths at the same time, and the achievement will come soon after.

TLDR: DPS boss until 33% (second gem should spawn now) > click NW and SE gems at the same time > Congrats on your achievement!

Just want to announce. We did NOT have to wait till 66% for the first gem to spawn. It was already up. So I had set up the markers and where the second one should be. And at 33% it spawned like it should have. So if you have a NW one up already, you can be sure that the second will spawn in the SE corner.

Least that was how it worked for us. And you should get the achievement right away if you clicked the two close enough together to get it.

Was able to solo this as a warlock (521 ilvl, not meta gem or 600 cloak on this alt sadly :( (but that doesn't matter, I can brood in my own time...)

After getting past 2nd boss (&*!@# to solo btw...) I placed a demonic gateway on the north west spawn point, going to the south east spawn point. Then, a demonic circle in the center of the room.

Using my voidlord as a tank (talent choices are soul leech, mortal coil, soul link, burning rush, grimoire of supremacy, and kil'jaeden's cunning. Glyph of healthstone and ember tap work well here as heals are needed when the boss drops bellow 33%), I dpsed the boss (full nuke to stack soul leech) to 33%. At 40%, I moved next to the north west marker, hit 33% *click* take demonic gateway to south east gem *click* demonic circle: teleport *click* then... aachievement!

Sure, you can do it in a group if you are a warlock, but solo'ing stuff I really enjoy at the moment since I'm up to date on content (especially stuff I can solo).

Be prepared to use defensive cool downs, and if the damage from 33% is too great, save your burning embers to heal during the *click* phase.

Soloed this as BM Hunter

Iam a engineer so i had rocket boosts and a speed pot i blasted the boss to 33 percent used my speed pot and rocket boost trinket and blasted to the other gem i clicked and bam achieve done

I started at the northwest gem first then headed to the southeast gem.

You need to have incredible speed to pull this off if you aint a warlock!

Just did it as a hunter, and its totally soloable without engineering, using disengage (although that would have been even better) or anything else, you can just run between the buttons. But make sure you kill him with the beam, or you wont get the achievement! I had to do it twice just because of that.. So make sure that if you have a pet, move it between the two southern lionheads before you click the gems.

Tip to those attempting this. He MUST be in the room! He cant be at the throne OR the Doorway. I just attempted this with him being tanked at the throne... Its a no go.

Side note, with 2 well placed feathers from a priest, ANYONE can do this. Just send the dps that can take the abuse and tank him near the pillar close to a gem. The priest can drop the feather around 50%. If your group is a PuG with decent or above dps i'd hit the first crystal at 45% and start towards the second or he might die before hand.

If doing with a premade group then you can just stop dps altogether at 30% (37% if theres ALOT of DoTs) and have 1 or two assigned people hit the crystals. That's your preference. Just remember to tank him inside the room.

Remember, if your not dodging knifes then your not in the right spot!

I Solod it on my hunter ilvl 568. Took me about 6 tries. I thought he has to be hit by the laser so I lined him up with my pet tanking then I realized you didn't have to. I am engineering and used the disengage glyph. I lined myself up max ranged click-able range of the button and then as soon as he was in the last phase clicked it, disengaged, hit rocket boost mid air, then turned a 180 with my mouse and went directly to the one across the room and got it. There is about a 3 sec delay after you click the second one and the achievement pops up. You do not have to kill him.

Just logged in to post that when soloing this achievement, or trying to solo activate both crystals be wary of the knockback that will happen if spinning traps hit you.
Nobody seemed to mention this anywhere which seems insane as a knockback will completely ruin your chances of getting both crystals in time.

KNOCKBACKS ARE THE DEVIL, BEWARE SPINNING TRAPS!
