A simple question... Is there anyway to spot whether an image is her true self? Like a different hue, a special movement or attack? Or does it rely on pure luck?

At 66% and 33% Jandice vanishes and creates 9 copies of her scattered around the area. The images arent identical and you can tell which is the real one if you pay "attention to detail" (get it?). They will all be spinning really fast so the only way to determine which one is the real one is to memorise her face from her portrait. Be sure to remember her skin tone, headband, hair, etc.
If you kill the right clone the real Jandice will appear shortly after and the fight continues. Get it right twice and you get the achievement.

EDIT: Oh boy. It's not 9 illusions, I just did the dungeon on heroic and the difference is the illusions spawn in 3x5 making it a total of fifteen clones at once, still with only one real one. Good luck!

As mentioned above and in the Dungeon Journal, Janice Barov will disappear at 66% and 33% and summon nine illusions set in rows of 3x3 before then hiding behind the one that looks just like her. Each illusion will cast a different 幻影旋风 that is AoE (feintable) Arcane damage and there is absolutely no difference in spell animation between them. The clone she hides behind is completely unique to the others, the other 8 have different variations and even are sometimes complete copies of each other but never the real one. If you miss an illusion, you will hear a taunting /kiss and have one less clone using 幻影旋风 on you but the achievement will fail.

The only way to truly do this achievement is to click each portrait until you find one with a black headband, long black hair that goes over her shoulder, a black chestpiece and black shoulders as these are the only things you need/can get from clicking on portraits. The hardest part to see is the chestpiece and is seen just below her chin. Remember, you only have to hit the right illusion twice, once in each phase. The illusion phase lasts until you hit the right illusion so, if your group is geared/prepared enough, you can take more time to hit the correct one while surviving the massive AoE magic damage by rotating cooldowns.

I made a bunch of macros to help with the achievement. Just Copy/Paste the following in your chatbox

First, this one:

It will show a huge model of your current target at the right of your screen.

Then, target the boss and use that one:
/run frm2 = CreateFrame("PlayerModel");frm2:SetPoint("BOTTOMRIGHT",frm,"BOTTOMLEFT",0,0);frm2:SetHeight(600);frm2:SetWidth(300);frm2:SetUnit("target")
It will display the original boss next to your current target.

After that, the achievement should be easy

So, I found out an interesting mechanic that makes this achievement a lot easier if you have a hunter in the group who can pay attention to detail (see what I did there?).

Whenever she vanishes and the images appear, the boss herself isn't an image. You're actually finding the image that is linked to the boss and looks just like her. That's why when you kill an image that looks exactly like her, the image dies and she seems to spawn where the image was at. The boss is just standing invisible elsewhere in the room until the correct image is killed.

Instead, when the boss vanishes, she actually stays right where she was tanked, but she is invisible. You can't see her until you kill the right mirror image. However, if you have a Hunter in the group, and he has Hunter's Mark on Jandice before she vanishes, the Hunter (only the Hunter) can see her standing right where she vanished. The model is a little bit transparent (she's supposed to be invisible, after all), but you can easily see all of the details on the model. The Hunter can even target her and see the portrait (can't attack her, though).

After that, it's just a game of the Hunter finding which images share the same portrait as the real Jandice. This is really easy, as you can switch targets from the real Jandice to an image and if the portraits are exactly the same, you've probably found the right Jandice. I've used this strategy in three different groups so far and have done it perfectly. I actually don't think multiple images spawn sharing Jandice's portrait, as each time I didn't see a second one sporting the real portrait.

The reason why this works is because of the nature of Hunter's Mark. HM allows the Hunter to see its marked target, even if it is stealthed or invisible. When Jandice vanishes, she doesn't clear her debuffs. Hunter's Mark stays on her, and the Hunter can see the real Jandice.

The easiest way I found was to look closely to the purple swirls above their heads. You'll notice that the real one is slightly brighter and more vibrant than the rest.

The easiest way to get this achievement is to have the entire group stop dps when she splits and just have your healer heal through the damage while the 3 dps and tank walk around the room checking to see which add is actually causing the damage to the group. The rest of the adds appear to be doing damage but in reality, the only one that causes damage to the group is the real Jandice. Once you find that one, mark it with a kill target and everyone in the group kill it.
Repeat the process again at 33% and collect achievement. :)

essential for challenge modes ty for the scripts ,if you spot the right target boss come immediately, so your healer will not waste mana team not wasting time , essential for silver or gold challenge mode thankns for posting it.

This is actually a pretty easy achiviement. Just target each of them. And see which one of them has black shoulders, on her portrait. All the clones will have white shoulders. i.e, the real one have black. Hope this helps :)

I found out a really simple way to find which one is the real one.
You only need to loot at your target head.

The real one has black hair that goes over her shoulders, black hairband, both are the only things you need and a little detail. Among theses black clones, only one face does not have a "red left cheek", this is the real one. A bit hard to find out what I am talking about, but in the end it's really easy and fast.

It's fully automated so no fumbling with macro buttons, and should help your achievement and CM runs!

I found 1 damn simple way to do this achievment, the right copy of the boss is the only copy that targets a player. so simple find the copy that targets a player and kill her. win win

For those who like doing this legitimately and without the addon, what many posters fail to notice:
- There should be about 3 Illusions have properly black hair, facemark, headband, shoulder mark, lipstick, etc.
- Only 1 of these has Black Mageweave Leggings' white border on her upper thigh. The other 2 have a yellow border at the top of here leggings, like Cindercloth's.

Find the black hair, shoulders, headband etc... then look at her thighs. If the top border of the leggins is white/grey/silver, whatever, you're good. If it's yellow/gold, it's a fake. This is much more telltale than trying to ascertain the color of her chestpiece or belt while spinning.

After having succeeded at this achievement several times by luck, then doing it VERY meticulously with guildies after having made a bad call, I noticed the leggings are the last major confirming giveaway.

We did this achievement today in a guild group. It is in fact a lot easier than people make it seem to be. Two things you should know:

1) The portrait is good enough to determine the right image.
2) Someone running around checking the actual Barovs is helpful, but not necessary.

In all the 15 images there's one portrait that doesn't look like the others. 12 of the portraits are simply not Barov, due to red headbands, white hair etc. But the remaining three have the all-black style already mentioned in other comments.

Once you've found those three portraits, compare them. Two of them have an orange/yellow glow on Barov's face (on the right edge of her face), while the actual Barov has no glowing on her face, thus the portrait will seem a lot darker than the others. Additionally, you can have someone check the shoes and waistbands of all the Barovs, they will not be black on the wrong images.

Just make sure you do it on a properly bright, high contrast computer screen where you can spot the difference in lighting. I will try to update with screenshots the next time I get to do this achievement.

Did it yesterday in a very simple and unexpected way. She started casting Wondrous Rapidity at around 60% and we managed to burn her down most of the way during that and then afterwards just killed her without her ever spawning illusions and thus granting the achievement.

The easiest way to do this achievement, we found, is to simply turn on Target of Target. The correct image will be targeting a member of your party. The rest will not.

Just nuke it when she starts casting.. Only required two 530+ dds, so should be possible for a group of LFR guys if you prepare cooldowns.

I just got this tonight completely by accident. The group I was in nuked her so fast she didn't have time to go through the illusion phases and we got it by default. Didn't think that was even possible as she'd always switch at certain HP percentages.

If you kill her before she vanishes the 1st time you automatically get the achieve. Just have everyone switch to dps spec including the tank and healer and save all cooldowns for her and it's really easy.

edit 26.09.2014 : According to the dungeon journal she vanishes at 66% and 33%. This is UNLESS she is casting wondrous rapidity at the time... So if you have so much dps that she vanishes before she is even casting wondrous rapidity then the strategy I describe above may not work. So maybe it isn't best to have everyone switch to dps spec unless you are in a undergeared pug group.

So really you want to be dpsing her down to about 70%, waiting for her to cast wondrous rapidity and the killing her.

Soloable with half decent gear now, her damage is pretty negligible so you have plenty of time to find the right image.

You don't really need a macro or a hunter for this achievement to be done. It's all about details. Simply move her out of the room, wait for copies to despawn and get your achivement. Saves you few seconds for Challenge Mode too.

I just got this one a couple of minutes ago. She was next to an image that looked bald both times. There was only one 'bald" Janice. When looking at the portrait, The one I killed looked exactly like the boss' portrait.
