Contrary to what it says on the mission page here it is a 4 day mission not a 2 day.

This can obviously be reduced by the 20% buff from the researcher in your class hold.

I needed to complete the quest from Odyn for the dungeon in Black Rook Hold, to get the greater demonic runestone.

Completing the BRH, getting the demonic runestone and turning in the quest brought up the quest for Capturing the Gateway, which lead to the mission Investigate Felsoul Hold, etc.

The Runestone is a required element for the Capturing the Gateway questline.
