Found Northeast of Everlook, at about 66,22, by the Hidden Grove, amongst Crazed Owlbeasts, and Moontouched Owlbeasts.

Follow the road S of Everlook until aroung 62,59. Turn left just before the building with the Alliance night elf NPC. NPC will aggro Horde and get you a flag.

Area changes to Owl Wing Thicket. Any spawn points can pop a Crazed, Moontouched or Berserk Owlbeast.

Spawns are random, so you can absolutely find the whole grove empty for Berserk Owlbeasts. You will need to kill everything there and hope for your mobs to spawn.

The area above Everlook (as shown on the map at http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=7454) holds enough to complete the quest

While killing these guys keep an eye out for the Blue-feathered Necklace (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=12558). Starts a quest to turn in at the fella in felwood, then you visit TB. Easy xp.

The Berserk Owlbeasts share spawn points with Moontouched Owlbeasts and Crazed Owlbeasts. You have to kill everything to get enough of the Berserk ones to respawn.

Looking at the Alliance quest Guardians of the Altar, the moonkin are guarding an altar of Elune.

So what, exactly, are Failbane's plans for Winterspring? The Horde have no presence there at all, and only a very small outpost in Felwood. The assorted Moonkin are scattered too thinly through western Winterspring to cause any problems, and are in only a couple remote spots in Eastern Winterspring. None of them seem organized enough to present any threat to any ventures there. How would they be in the way of any Horde plans?

What does an old altar of Elune have to do with any of this? Failbane seems to know about it, and hints that it's driven the moonkin mad.

The questgiver directs you to the small caves (Owl Wing Thicket) south of Everlook for the Berserk Owlbeasts and for "something valuable." I suppose that is the Blue-feathered Necklace drop that leads to "Guarding Secrets" quest part one and part two. Altogether the three quests yield 9300, 4650, and 9300 XP for a total of 23,250 XP. Other posts indicate that the necklace drops from Berserk Owlbeasts in the northeast corner, around Hidden Grove, as well.

Useful knowledge for loremasters :) And you can only get the above mentioned item while on the 3rd part of the Wild Guardians questline.

**CAUTION** The Necklace will not drop if you have completed this questline witohut getting it, so make sure you do :)

It seems that there are wildkin situated in the area around these caves. If there is something valuable that they are guarding, I believe that this is the place we will find it.

You will find these to be more of a challenge than the previous types, <name>. The creatures seem to have gone mad from exposure to the very thing that they strive to protect. ]
