Transmogrification at Wowhead: Guides and Features

Most everyone is running around Stormwind and Orgrimmar in their shiny transmogrified gear, but if you're still stumped on finding an outfit or want an even better one, we've got resources for you--from new features to extensive guides! A few weeks ago, we launched our first new Transmogrification feature:

, but here's the highlights:
We compiled over 1,100 matching itemsets--sets of gear that match, even if Blizzard didn't explicitly group them together. From classic Tier sets to matching gear from Troll heroics, we've got it covered!
We labeled some sets as "Recolor" or "Look-alike." A look-alike set has the same pattern and silhouette as class-specific tier, but with either a different color scheme or no class restrictions.
We added image browsing in addition to list browsing. You can visually preview any set--maybe you'll find something you've never heard of that looks great!
This week, we added the option to browse items by color. Big thanks to
Mogit's creators
for helping us out! Either type in a hexadecimal color code or click on the square to the left to change the color, hue, or saturation. You'll then get a list of items that include that hue. If you don't care about your set having matching details, but really want a specific color scheme, this tool is perfect for you.
Another feature we're working on is creating a "Same Model As" tab for every item--perfect if you really like the look of a hard-to-find item. You can already see this feature for capes, helms, and shoulders, and weapons--like

Transmogrification: Look-Alike Tier
: While there are some restrictions on the type of armor players can transmogrify, there are some look-alike versions of distinctive Tier sets that any class can equip. You're in luck if you're a rogue that wants to look like a druid, or a paladin like a warrior! This guide compiles all the look-alike tier sets, which later became one of the most interesting parts of the Transmogrification Sets feature.
Transmogrification: Matching Greens
: This covers all matching green-quality BoE sets--gear that comes from random world drops and is most easily collected via the AH, with some diligence.
