Mists of Pandaria: Monk Class Preview

흑우 조각상 소환: Summons a Black Ox Statue at the target location. Lasts for 15 min. Only one Black Ox Statue can be summoned at any one time. The Black Ox Statue interacts with your Provoke and Leer of the Ox abilities.

Guard (On - Click Effect): Allies can right-click the Statue to gain the Guard effect, absorbing 14232 damage. Any healing done by the Monk is increased by 30% while Guard is active. Guard has 10 charges.

불의 숨결 Breathes fire causing 1401 to 1785 damage to all targets in front of you within 0 yards. If Dizzying Haze is on the target, they will burn for an additional 1804 to 2300 damage over 8 sec.

술안개 You hurl a keg of your finest brew, reducing the movement speed of all enemies within 8 yards by 50% for 15 sec. Deals a high amount of threat.

Mistweaver

기의 고치: Encases the target in a cocoon of Chi energy, absorbing damage and increasing all periodic healing taken by 100%.

옥룡 조각상 소환: Summons a Jade Serpent Statue at the target location. Lasts for 15 min. Limit 1 Statues. Only one statue can be active at a time.

집중의 천둥 차: You receive a jolt of energy, doubling the healing done by your next Surging Mist or causing your next Uplift to refresh the duration of your Renewing Mists on all targets. Lasts for 30 sec.

Windwalker

: Deals 709 to 823 Fire damage to the first enemy target in front of you within 0 yards. If Spinning Fire Blossom travels further than 10 yards, the damage is increased by 50% and you root the target for 2 sec.

Talents

비취 돌풍: You summon a whirling tornado that travels 0 yards in front of you, dealing 5069 to 6010 Nature damage to all targets in its path and increasing damage taken by your Spinning Crane Kick by 30% for 8 sec.

백호 쉬엔의 원령: Invokes the White Tiger Celestial, summoning an effigy at the command of the caster. The effigy will assist you, attacking your primary target and also inflicting tiger lightning every 6 sec to 3 nearby enemies within 10 yards dealing 1605 damage over 5 sec. Lasts for 45 sec.

: A mighty Ox effigy rushes forward 30 yards in front of you, stunning all enemies within its path for 3 sec.

해악 감퇴: You dampen the damage from the most harmful attacks done to you. The next 3 attacks within 45 sec that deal damage equal to 10% or more of your total health are reduced in half.

: Forms a Zen Sphere above the target, healing the target for 126 and dealing 41 damage to the nearest enemy within 10 yards of the target every 2 sec for 16 sec. Only one Zen Sphere can be summoned at any one time. If Zen Sphere is cast again while active, the Zen Sphere will detonate, dealing 144 damage and 450 healing to all targets within 10 yards.

: You form a Healing Sphere out of healing mists at the target location for 2 min. If allies walk through it, they consume the sphere, healing themselves for 9986.

마비: You cause the targets muscles to contract, incapacitating them for 30 sec. If done from behind the target, the duration is doubled. Only one target can be victim to Paralysis at any given time. Any damage taken will cancel the effect.

General Abilities

: You create a Fire Blossom at your feet every 1 sec for 3 sec. The blossom will last for 10 sec and deal 383 Fire damage to the first enemy that walks over it. Fire Blossoms cannot be created within 3 yards of an existing blossom.

강화주: Turns your skin to stone, increasing your health by 20%, and reducing damage taken by 20%. Lasts 20 sec.

해탈: You split your body and spirit, leaving your spirit behind for 15 min.

명상 Reduces all damage taken by 90% and redirects to you up to 5 harmful spells cast against party and raid members within 30 yards. Lasts 8 sec.

At first glance, Brewmaster tanks appear to take harder hits than other tanks. However, they have a mechanic called 시간차 which turns a percentage of the damage taken into a DoT. This DoT can build up to high levels, which 정화주 can remove for 1 Chi.

boosts some abilities. One of them is , which increases your parry chance and the amount of damage converted to Stagger.

Brewmasters get a statue with passive buffs: 흑우 조각상 소환. Everytime the Monk deals AP*16) damage, the Black Ox statue will cast Guard on an injured party or raid member within 40 yards absorbing ((AP * 1.971) + 14232 * 1 damage lasting 30 sec. This effect cannot be cast onto the Monk.)
