Introducing Hearthstone at Wowhead

Hearthstone's beta is coming this summer and we've got our first peek at the game's cards!
We've added all of the cards and Hearthstone data to Wowhead as
a brand new section
so you guys can browse Hearthstone updates while you're still using Wowhead. We've created filters, tooltips, and other features that you've come to know and love from using Wowhead--including our awesome image search that you've probably seen from our unique
battle pet
and
transmog set
features.

Tooltips
We've expanded our
popular Wowhead tooltips
to now cover
Hearthstone Cards
! We went with an information-based approach, opting to make our tooltips condensed and full of the card details.
If you've already enabled Wowhead tooltips on your site, you're good to go! Wowhead links to Hearthstone cards will now sport a
tooltip
and an
icon
, like
Al'akir the Windlord
.
In addition to showing all the basic information you can view on a card, our tooltips display some additional details like a card's race and class! Here's what you'll find on our tooltips:
Name, Card Type
Race, Class
Cost, Attack Power, Health
Mechanics
Flavor Text

Hearthstone
We wanted to stress that no one outside of Blizzard currently has access to a playable Hearthstone client. We got our files from datamining and have talked with Blizzard about this feature. Since we don't have client access, updates may not be as regular as they are for World of Warcraft but we will strive our best to keep you updated on new cards and Hearthstone information right here at Wowhead.
