A: The blood elves aren't even a cultural group, if they're a cultural group, crackheads are a cultural group. They're exactly that, addicted high elves, High elves fought the addiction, blood elves gave in. That's no culture, that's being a drug addict.Um...horse crap? They are a race now; there are three elvish races on the planet: Night, High and Blood. So yes, it's racist how he treated them, acting like they were less then mortal beings who deserved to die.
B: He sent them on a mission, they had swordsmen didn't they? It's not like it's godamn impossible if you did it right.
The majority of the fighting was done by blood elf units either way. you get two big grunts and a spellcaster, not like you don't have enough spellcasters already.Yeah...and before he sent them out, what did he do? Remove all of the Human, Dwarf and Gnomes forces, knowing full bloody well that they were about to hit a wood chipper of Scourge forces; hence, the suicide mission term.
He wasn't a hero; he was a bigot, a moron, a near sighted idiot, and quite possibly the only actual deserving of death villain in Warcraft 3 that wasn't a Scourge or Legion member.

Gnomes forces,
Were there any?
full bloody well that they were about to hit a wood chipper of Scourge forces; hence, the suicide mission term.
Moved to the front line, where a log shredder of scourge forces were.
He wasn't a hero; he was a bigot, a moron, a near sighted idiot, and quite possibly the only actual deserving of death villain in Warcraft 3 that wasn't a Scourge or Legion member.
Illidan Drugrage Slyvannas Traitorrunner Grom Roidscream (Illidan might not count since he's a legion member halfway in)
And he wasn't near sighted, if the blood elves died, who cares, if they didn't yay! He was moving forwards towards capital city and war involves sacrifice, if it wasn't them, it'd be someone else.
But you don't see all of that because your looking from kael'thas egostrider the Narcissist mage. He' basically ragequit the second something went any way other than his.

You keep throwing that word around, Do you even know what it means?
A: The blood elves aren't even a cultural group, if they're a cultural group, crackheads are a cultural group. They're exactly that, addicted high elves, High elves fought the addiction, blood elves gave in. That's no culture, that's being a drug addict. At the point there was little knowlage of the addiction and was seen as a dissese that had victims, and all the high elves was blood elves, high elves came latter with Rommath.
And all elves had the addiction no exeptions, the blood elves drained from living arcane creatures and high elves did not (kinda vegetarian) and fel came when there was no arcane to drain. (and most of the eye changes was due to exposure to fel radiaton like the frostwolf clan)
B: He sent them on a mission, they had swordsmen didn't they? It's not like it's godamn impossible if you did it right.

He sended the elves on suicide runs. Think a battle when the enemy outnumbers you 40+ to 1, there is mo way you can battle that and win, Kael survived only becouse of the night elves and naga who helped him.
Not to mention that Garothias did a nazi move and captured the elves only to execute them all for no valid reason.
But you don't see all of that because your looking from kael'thas Sunstrider the blood mage and a member of the six. He' basically ragequit the second something went any way other than his.
He quited after being put in Auschwitz.

He was moving forwards towards capital city and war involves sacrifice, if it wasn't them, it'd be someone else.Every mission he sent them on, the Blood Elves were meant to die; a intelligent commander realizes that he can get things done better if his forces come back alive...but then again, no one at all can ever accuse Garthios of being intelligent; guy was as dumb as two thick planks.
But you don't see all of that because your looking from kael'thas egostrider the Narcissist mage. He' basically ragequit the second something went any way other than his.Yes, because after roughly 75% of your people were just wiped out by the Scourge mass led by the psychotic new king of Lordaeron, lets go and get more of them killed and have some racist bastard wipe out the entire thing!...and this guy was suppose to an ally!
Garithos got what he deserved.

You don't get it do you? Every mission would have been suicide if you counted by that.
40 to 1 vs. 39 to 1 is still the same.

No, it was an addiction, high elves fought the addiction and weened themselves off it, blood elves chickened out and kept draining magic.
Not to mention that Garothias did a
rational
move and captured the elves to execute them
for disobeying orders, joining up with demon lord illidan's grunts and doing so again after being told not to
Fixed.
Gotta go now, headache's killing me.

What I find truly amusing is why Garithos imprisoned them: Because the Blood Elves survived. Had they followed the orders, they all would have been wiped out...just as the racist bastard planned.
But again, Garithos was a moron and an idiot when it came to war, so his fate was written from the moment he attempted to form the 'new alliance'; good riddance to bad rubbish.

I took the liberty of beating that mission with the naga killed to death.
I did.
Your arguement invalid.

Then how did he get all the way to capital city and on the other side even?
There are things you can call him, but he leads from the front, leads properly and even if he is racist, he doesn't leave his dwarves for dead did he?
EDIT: Can you please go away? This headache's getting worse and the only reason i'm still here is purely because garithos is hated on for no good reason.

Umm you have a party of 10 your foe is over 400, try your luck, or you know you could get some spare soilders and even out the numbers, Kael would be mighty arrogant if he ever belived he had a chanse of survival.

Even the high elves siped magic like hell in

No, this started before i replied.
Even the high elves siped magic like hell in Vessels of Power it says that they need magic or they start licking fel.
All high elves, regardless of class, status or upbringing, are addicted to magic, and all have some small proficiency in it. Unlike blood elves who succumb to it, high elves actively fight their addiction and are required to meditate at least an hour every day to maintain personal control. The high elves are not proud of this addiction, and take pains to keep it a secret. Being close to Moon Wells will satiate the addiction, as will the use of certain magical items, though it should be noted Night Elves do their best to keep high elves away from the Well and magical objects that provide the same result are rare.
If a high elf resorts to feeding off something else to sate the addiction, then they cross the line from high elf to blood elf. Contrary to popular belief, magical addiction is not fatal in and of itself (the only elves who have actually died from withdrawal were either elderly, very young, or already ill).

Your arguement invalid. You young sir, need to learn the difference between Gameplay and Story: Story wise, Kael needed the Naga or he would have died...and so would his people. The argument is not invalid by any stretch of the imagination, since if you do it well(or with cheats) you can destroy an army with one Hero in Warcraft 3.
So, to the Lore, Kael needed that help or he would have been wiped out and Garithos the bastard would have gotten what he wanted.
Then how did he get all the way to capital city and on the other side even?
There are things you can call him, but he leads from the front, leads properly and even if he is racist, he doesn't leave his dwarves for dead did he?How? Very simple: Kael'thas at first, then the Dreadlord mind controlling him, and then Sylvanas throwing her forces in with his...and then he died, and many a cheer went up for the death of the Idiot General. Also, he's a racist, not a Xenophobe; there is a difference, as the Scarlet Crusade are all Xenophobic, which is why they hate all races. Garithos was racist to any of the elf races, just like Varian has a thing about Orcs, but does not hate Blood Elves, Tauren, Trolls or Goblins.

first of all, Kael was dealing with secondary forces, we all know that.
Not like he was having a godamn party. He was fighting in the front the entire time, and it took offscreen powers from a dreadlord to take them out, after which slyvannas conned him, and he took an elf's word at face value, probably the first time since the second war.
Guess where that left him.

You want to know the easiest way to tell Garithos was a moron? He's fighting the Scourge, an enemy who gets stronger with every dead body on the battle field...so he decides that now is the time to give in to his racist hatred and tries to wipe out the Blood Elf forces....completely and utterly ignoring the fact that every Blood Elf who falls means a new member of the Scourge is coming against him.
A intelligent commander(IE anyone else) would want to keep as many of his forces alive as possible, so that they'll not keep making the enemy stronger. And before you go 'he didn't know'; the Third War had been going on for at least a year by the time the Frozen Throne starts up; if he didn't realize that killing his own forces meant the Scourge was getting stronger, then it proves his stupidity even more.

Disagree and disagree; he's not a hero, he was a racist bastard who somehow got lucky enough to be in command of the New Alliance...and he pissed it away, and got himself killed by his own stupidity.

I don't wander into RP and Lore (well ok there was the one time) so I enjoy the odd occasion when your lore arguments bloom up in General.
