Hello! My family plays Wow and we usually use Noxxic to set up are talent tree points. I tried going there after this last patch and I couldn't get it to work. So my step-son recommended Wowpopular. We went by it to set up our points.
Then a few minutes ago i checked Noxxic again and looks like it has different recommendations on where to put points. So now I am thinking.......which should we use? Or is there another one out there that's even better? Any tips or suggestions would be much appreciated! Thank you for taking the time to read this!

I've been using Noxxic & icy-veins.com. Both seem to give similar advice on specs & builds.

Oh forgot to add that not 100% sure I was reading Noxxic's correct. When I clicked talent build it had boxes over certain skills. But it let's you move the boxes so I'm not sure what that's all about.

Isn't the point of the new talent system that there are no, or at least less cookie cutter builds?
Also, is making a "1 out of 3" decision 5 times really that difficult? I bet if you just took a look at the talents yourself, to think about how they could fit your playstyle, you would end up with a better setup than anything a website can give you.

Ah yeah good point. I wish I wasn't such an altoholic cause I know druid fairly well and I have been learning a lot about priests. Also have been playing on my rogue trying to learn more about that class. I have 5 level 85's, a level 80 rogue and a level 68 warlock. Been playing more on the warlock as well lately. But I don't know that class all that well so I usually try to go somewhere to see what most people use and to see recommended rotations to go by. And then of course I like what you said about playstyle because I know everyone developes their own. That's why I love this game. Always something to learn. I like healing but I also like being dps so I can learn that side of fights as well.
Sorry for rambling on. Yeah I noticed by going by Wowpopular i gave up nature's swiftness on my druid for a self healing spell that seems similar to that spell that priests have. That seems cool but Nature's swiftness is really nice too. Not sure if it would be good to give that up lol

I have to say that before we had some minor individuality as players with talent trees, now is where i see it being cookie cutter. As someone that has run priests for a few years, I miss many things I used to have. Trying to follow the advice of dont judge till the full exp is out but, personally i think blizzard just dumbed down everything.
A large majority of the old trees were absorbed into the Specs; most of the 'no $%^&' talents and the like. The new talents are meant to be situational just like glyphs are now, ones that you can change on the fly depending on the situation.

Even Noxxic discusses the merits of their individual talent choices and in most cases recommend swapping their choice for other talents in the various tiers to suit your playstyle.
I really like the new talent trees because I look at it as they took away all the clutter we would have picked anyway and left us with the few points we had to spend wherever.
