no for wow u have to type something somewhere but i don't remember where i saw the instructions to do it

Right click the launcher and add -d3d11 to the end so it looks something like this.

"F:\World of Warcraft\Launcher.exe" -d3d11

Launch wow and that's it.

I am pretty sure that when people saw DX11 they were thinking it was some kind of computer or something, where as if th eOP had said direct x 11, everyone would have known :P

What I want to know is that if my graphics card may not be able to support it, is there any reason for me to get it? As in, does it affect any other programs besides WoW?

I'm kind of behind the times when it comes to software, drivers etc. I guess Iw as wondering if DX11 influenced any other games besides WoW to a lesser extent. Anyway, I found my answer, so it doesn't really matter lol
