The Empyrean Guild Philosophy Empyrean’s goal for Legion is to be ready for, and complete, Tomb of Sargeras in the top 12 guilds on the server and we are surrounding ourselves with players with the same goal. Below is our “3 P’s Philosophy.” Progression This is a raiding guild, first and foremost. While many guildies enjoy the occasional PvP, our heart belongs to the PvE world. We will tackle farm content at times, but the moment we are capable we will leap into progression. Old world raid breaks are a healthy and fun way to break up the regular routine. EPGP INFO We feel the combination is the best system. We hope to gear everyone equally inside of raids. If you gear yourself outside of raids your efforts will not go unnoticed. Performance Everyone gets held to the same standard of performance. If you don’t meet it, we have a number of amazing analysts who will go through as much as they can to help you get better. Guildies understand they will be criticized and critiqued to a degree. We aren’t criticizing you as a person, only your WoW playing. Unless you’re a big %^&*!@bag. Then you’re gone. Everyone has off nights. We bring 100% to the table as much as possible. However, if anyone, even the Raid Lead, starts playing like crap for whatever reason guild leadership won’t hesitate to ask you take the night off. Preparation impacts performance. Did you flask? Come fully repaired? Early? Full set of pots and reagents? The EPGP system will reward performance and preparation. Perseverance We’re going to wipe. A lot. Get used to it. If you’re not used to wiping by now, then a progression guild may not be for you. Its the courage and the will to continue that counts. Accept the fact that there are nights where we’re seemingly going to beat ourselves against a wall. That’s what learning is all about. We wipe, we learn, we progress. If this is not something you’re prepared to do, then this guild is not for you. We’re going to have good days and bad days. Some days, we’re just going to have to grind out the encounters. We’re going to have a lot of fun regardless of what happens. Those three principles will guide the guild and raids, but it’s not a democracy. It’s a Faxisocracy. Surrounding ourselves with people who agree with and support our vision prevents most disagreements. We’ve got an awesome team in terms of leadership and ability to help resolve any problems but ultimately, the Guild Leader directs this vision and decides the direction of the guild. One More Thing - A Note from Faxis I’m only human. This is the first real guild I will be leading into a new tier. I’m going to make mistakes along the way. I will do what I can to fix them. I always try to be kind and neutral. I will also listen. I may not do what you ask. I may not believe the same as you. But I will listen to anyone, especially if they disagree with me. In the end, please respect that I may still go in a different direction. Trust me to do the right thing. Because if I don’t, a number of people will certainly make it public and hold me accountable. It’s in the guild’s and my best interests to do well. Progression, performance, and perseverance. That’s the system. Trust it. Still interested? We have a number of spots still open.
