Maybe because it looks like a geist? I'm tired of people saying "Wow, this set looks like crap."
Blizzard is doing good on the rogue sets, you think this is what a child character would look like? Yeah right, these sets are from undead, they aren't going to be beautiful, that's not how undead look, is it? Considering geists are probably the most stealthy of the undead, I say this set is perfect for a rogue and Blizzard should keep up the good work, and people like you should think before they post.

These macros I think might help those when we get the 2 Set bonus.

The best Macro for Tricks of the Trade is, it pretty much automatically casts it on the tank:
#showtooltip Tricks of the Trade
/cast Tricks of the Trade

The more primordial option was:

Have your tank on focus and pressing this macro will cast Tricks of the Trade:
/cast tricks of the trade

If you need to swap to the off tank or a tank on adds:
/focus target

Currently most rogues cast Tricks of the Trade while still in stealth before entering battle, so the extra 15 energy would be useless at that moment, unless it goes up to 115 similar to battlemaster trinkets on health. To take advantage of the 2 Set bonus we are probably going to want to cast it when we are low on energy, like right after a mutilate or a finishing move. So that rotation will most likely change.

Let's compare the set bonuses:
T8 (2 set) Probably only makes a difference when doing Fan of knives on several targets.
T8 (4 set) This is actually useful in a raid.

T9 (2 set) Not sure if shorter ruptures make this proc more often.
T9 (4 set) This is useful.

T10 (2 set) We'll see if these macros make this a useful bonus.
T10 (4 set) 13% is not much but it will be nice when it does proc.

13% for the 4 piece bonus is huge. Most Mutilate cycles have you using envenom at 4+ combo points after pooling energy, then using Mutilate and then pool energy again so you don't clip the envenom buff. You also get 1 combo point a good portion of time from using a finisher, which means it only takes 1 Mutilate to reach 4 CPs. This means that every 2nd or 3rd skill you use is an envenom as a finisher. If you look at how many finishers you use over the course of a fight like Saurfang, then you should see quite a few procs.

With this set bonus, you'll have to work in an Eviscerate occasionally so you don't clip envenom at all. You'll get the 1 extra CP, then the extra 3 on top of that and have 4 CPs ready to go for your next finisher, prompting an evis rather than another envenom. This will add even more finishers to your rotation, allowing the 4 piece to proc that much more often. Played correctly this will be a nice bump for Assassination DPS.

With this set bonus, you'll have to work in an Eviscerate occasionally so you don't clip envenom at all.

Eviscerate would be a huge loss in damage rather then timing envenom to coincide with the current timing of the envenom buff. ie: (proc 3cp? envenom at 4 or mutilate to 5cp. proc 4cp? envenom (if possible) at 5 seconds

The complete lack of improvements to evis via talents and arp as a mutilate spec rogue makes this idea pretty null and void.

I think you're overestimating the number of finishers you use. Looking over my logs, on tank'n'spank fights like Saurfang and Festergut, the highest number of envenom's used was 40. My math is probably wrong (not a theorycrafter) but that's a little over 5 procs over the course of the fight. It's nice, but much lower than I'd prefer, particularly given how strong the offset pieces are for mutilate.
