This must be a bug or this trinket is the best trinket in the world. Constant 1k AP clicking it every 20 secs and 128 hit rating. Truly a melee dps heaven, if not for the hit rating, it's for the AP

It's very lackluster for an iLevel 245 trinket.
http://ptr.wowhead.com/?item=45522
is 226, has 260 more AP and 20 less hit. And a shorter CD (45sec).
This has less AP, more hit, longer CD, but is on use.
Yes, this is badge loot, but that's still -19- iLevels of difference. They should be equal at best.
Anyone see something wrong here? If it's intended to be worse, nerf the ilevel.

Nice trink and everything but it seems a little oriented to PvP due to it's on use capability. Many of the other trinks
proc about once a minute for 10 seconds and offer greater benefit with a far lower ilevel. Thing is, hit rating (at least for a rogue), is easy to cap for PvP. Seems a little overrated for a 245.

This may end up being an attractive option for T9 raiding hunters and dps shaman. DPS mail in the Coliseum is really short on +hit as a whole. Keeping too many older pieces from Ulduar would gimp your dps. I'm seriously considering having this be my next badge purchase if I lose the 70+ hit I'd lose when I upgrade from T8 to T9 pants.
It seems that taking a piece or two that are rich on hit, like this trinket, would make it easier to stay hit capped.

Just an idea, but I think this trinket might have some use in PvP, say for a warrior since PvP gear lacks a lot of hit. I'd personally take this over Grim Toll or the Anvil of titans.

This actually looks to be a slightly better trinket than either grim toll or the greatness card for rogues after the 3.2.2 ArP nerf. Will check this on a few sheets to make sure but its 65dps better than grim toll and 38.5 better than Greatness for me.
Gear etc in sig (all ulduar 25 or better gear level cept my cloak)

I just got this thing yesterday and currently i am at 573 Hit rating without gemming or enchanting for hit. I'm not gonna lie it is a huge upgrade compared to the banner of victory which i am thouroughly glad i got rid of but i would say this is a nice trinket and well worth the 50 badges. I am also currently using

Just insane ammounts of ap on call.

Seems pretty good imo. It'll get you to cap and free up some gear/gem spots. Frankly I think this is quite good, would help DKs as well, going for about 11% hit, but like Brighteye said, if thats the case you'll have to always have this in your gear if you need to use it.

A trinket so rich in hit makes it so much easier to focus on strength and other stats. Surviving the hit cap with armor upgrade seemed a paradox but items such as this take a huge burden off of that. The ability to pop the trinket's effect on demand makes this piece such a wonderful item.

I'm looking to get rid of this if I can get lucky enough to obtain Death's Verdict
Plate DPS gear has just been so overloaded with hit rating that this just isn't necessary for me any longer.
Makes me wish I would have spent the badges on Crusader Orbs instead or something.

Seeing as nobody's posted it yet, this trinket provides an estimated 171 AP given that it's always on CD
(20/120*1024)

Sketchy item. Mark of Supremacy, what kind of Supremacy? Then check out the large gem on the right, there is a mildly subliminal swastika in it.

If you compare it to very similar type of trinket, Pyrite Infuser, then you find out that when your crit is around 50%, their uptime is roughly the same (16%) which means that Pyrite Infusor provides you around 30 more average AP. On the other hand, Mark of supremacy offers you 33 more Hit (do you need it?) and it is better for controlled burn phases.
I would say go for this trinket if you are way under hit cap and you dont have anything else to spend emblems on or you dont have Pyrite Infusor

For Rogues with Precision the hit cap is 314.78. With T9.5 and a few ToC pieces you are easily past 400 hit rating. The hit cap without Precision is 445.94. Perhaps we might start seeing some new Rogue Mutilate and Combat raiding specs without Precision and this and/or
Shard of the Crystal Heart
. If you could say activate both trinkets an awesome macro would be:
/cast Cold Blood
/use speed potion
/use Mark of Supremacy
/use Shard of the Crystal Heart
Except I'm not gonna do this because the cool down on Cold Blood is 3 minutes and these trinkets have a 2 minute CD so I guess it wouldn't be that great, and the fact that these trinkets have a shared cool down, so you would just get an error saying item not ready. I see some top gear score rogues equipping both of these trinkets and all I can think is that they are trying to bump up their gear score. Or does the additional white damage really count for that much?
I think I will keep Precision specced to 5, stay with my
Darkmoon Card: Greatness
, and wait till
Death's Verdict
drops to replace my other trinket,
Mirror of Truth
.
Maybe some Rogues equipping both of these can let us in on that, and also in that case, why not spec without precision? Perhaps (for Combat) Eviscerate 3/3, Vigor 1/1, and Cold Blood 1/1, or maybe some combination with Relentless Strikes might yield higher DPS.

How does this compare to

for a MM Hunter?

This trinket is one that I see a lot of hunters (and other classes) using, even if they're grossly above the hit cap to the point that the hit rating from the trinket is worthless. I imagine this stems from the "higher iLvl better gear" idea that many people have. I have this trinket, and I did used to use it for PVE to get above the hit cap; however, being hit-capped entirely with gear now, even something such as the Bandit's Insignia - a trinket from Naxxramas 25 - outdoes this when it comes to damage output.
Now, I have to say one thing...hunter trinkets are a pain in the ass. ToC 10, frost vendors and triumph vendors seem to have fantastic trinkets for everyone, but hunters over the hit cap are excluded. ToC 10 Faction Champs don't give us anything great, triumph gives us this, and frost gives us haste, which - with movement-based fights - isn't all that great. =P That's for another page though. The moral of the story: Don't use this simply because of its item level.

If you are trying to macro this with the engineering glove enchant, there is a 10 second timer after you activate Hyperspeed Accelerator. Therefore, you can't pop both of these items together. In reality, you can have both buffs up together since the engineering glove enchant is 12 seconds, but only for 2 seconds, so its quite unappealing to pop them together

Best hunter trinket in game, but only if you are using all the hit rating. Let me repeate that last line,

Just to be sure you got that, clear your mind now, please.

This trinket helped me qualify to start running heroics. The hit buff allowed me to reassign two talent points from Focused Aim into Careful Aim, raising my AP siginificantly. The on-demand AP fits conveniently into macros with Rapid Fire and/or Bestial Wrath for a damage burst that does not require a lot of time-management. As for the downtime? It's there to kick off every boss fight, and who needs it for the trash?
Sure there will be better trinkets down the road, but by then you will have Emblems of Triumph you don't know what to do with, and will hardly miss the 50 you spent on this.
Happy Hunting!

I am sorry to repeat a comment already made, but I am seeing many DPSers even in my guild that are STILL wearing this and are 150 points over hit cap min. If you are over hit cap for your class, then you should find another trinket even if it's lower gear level, becuase you can fill a necessary stat instead of wasting points in one you no longer benefit from. If you benefit from armour pen, then go for the 232 level trinket from 5 man forge of souls. Otherwsie, look for a crit trinket, like mirror of truth or 226 wrathstone from Ulduar 25. Another option might be 232 victor's call from TOC 10. Ideally, you want death's choice from TOC 25, and then 251 whispering fanged skull from ICC 10 early boss.
Hopefully some benefit from this advice and more follow it.

This trinket is most commonly used by already hit capped players to increase their gearscore.

I have no doubt that people over the hit cap equip this for the higher gearscore.
However when I use EnhSim on my 10 man ICC raiding shaman, I find that even though I'm over the spell hit cap without it, this trinket gives me the highest DPS over nonraiding trinkets like
Banner of Victory
and even
Needle Encrusted Scorpion
. All along with
Herkuml War Token
as my second trinket of course. Raid dps in recount seems to verify that I'm simming it right.
Not everyone is trying to inflate their gear score...
Mark of Supremacy
really is better than other pre-ICC trinkets, at least for some of us.
Of course, it could be that the lack of buffs in my 10 man runs just means that my case is the exception.

I'm not sure why there's comments here belittling gear score or this trinket. This trinket serves its purpose to a select few, and that functionality should be commented on here. Who cares what people do to increase their gear score. Some people use PVP gear to increase their score, so are we gonna comment on every PVP piece? Lets keep it relevant guys.

The hit is also an all on stat for frost death knights so this is a good option for the days before raiding

As a fury warrior, I find this trinket to be wonderful in my search for absolute ArP stacking as a casual. I dual wield ramaladni's, which nears me towards expertise cap, crafted 264 boots, T10 shoulders and legs, this has put me at a good expertise level (albeit a bit over) and on song for hit. I'm a troll engineer, so orcs will get a better benefit than I, so that lets you know that I'm only getting what is on the weapon :).
DWers may find this trinket tasty, single 2hers may find it a bit
TOO
heavy on the hit rating.

You are right. It's all about the almighty gearscore these days. However, I *refuse* to equip this when I am already hit-capped.
I will be sticking to my Greatness trinket. If it costs me raids (and it does) to have a lower gearscore, so be it.
Just use an addon like Outfitter to automatically equip this trinket when you go into a city so you flash the higher gearscore and then swap back to Greatness before you pull. If you're pulling your weight, no one will say anything about your gearscore dropping 73 points. Even if you weren't, I seriously doubt anyone would pickup that your GS dropped. Consider this an investment to get into raids.
