Contains a handful of Resonance Crystals, a small chance of a green and a very low chance of having the Lynx mount.

This satchel has a chance to drop the Dauntless Imperial Lynx mount at an apparent 1/100 chance.
The fastest way to get satchels would be to do all main 'fires', but also the side quests you get from giving 3/3 crystals to the small 'fires' spread around the area. My biggest advice is to skip the most nothern objective, as that percentage appears to be bugged and takes FOREVER to finish, so it's more efficient to log another alt instead of doing this.

I'm currently at 141 tries with no luck, so good luck and happy grinding for that beautiful, beautiful lynx! ♥
(You only need to be level 70+ to obtain this mount, and these objectives are unlocked automatically, so just log your alt army and fly there and get going.)

I finally looted it, on a level 70, and on that character's 4th box. It took me 170 satchels, but well worth it! ♥

Has anyone had an issue with these not dropping for alts even though they are listed as quest rewards?

Hello folks,

I've been farming this bag/mount on main and alts since early access-ish (still going :( ) and the satchels have always been purple/epic quality drops regardless of the level of the character I was on.

I've used a lvl 70 paladin this morning (06/09/24) and all of the bags from every source are now green/uncommon quality drops. Anyone know anything about the cause of this and whether or not it impacts the drop chances of the mount?

On 09/05/2024 they hotfixed the bags to be green quality instead of epic, but advised there was no change to the contents just so people aren't as confused as I was due to the change.

So before today's (9/10) reset, the satchels were Warband bound. As such, I put the ones I earned on alts in my warbank to open on my main after reset. Today, the satchels are nowhere to be found. Now, the newly earned satchels are showing as soulbound. So, if anyone else did what I did and now can't find the satchels, I'm guessing the change from warband bound to soulbound caused them to vanish.
I submitted a bug report, since I lost over 15 satchels, but I don't anticipate recouping that loss. Kinda sucks.

I got to rank 21 and picked up the Vermillion Mount before I got the Dauntless ..... RNG sucks

Why are the equipment from these so rare? I got the mount ages ago, but I've only gotten 2 shoulder appearances.

Got the mount forever ago and yet I've only gotten 11 out of 65 armor appearances. Doesn't matter what character I'm on I just get resonance crystals every week. Blizzard pls.

For transmog collectors, these satchels are SUPPOSEDLY the source for all the Lamplighter Elite's weapons :

Lamplighter Elite's Dagger (shares appearance with ritual knife from same source)
Lamplighter Elite's Great Mallet (shares appearance with hammer from same source)
Lamplighter Elite's Great Splitter (unique appearance)
Lamplighter Elite's Hammer (shares appearance with great mallet from same source)
Lamplighter Elite's Mace (unique appearance)
Lamplighter Elite's Ritual Knife (shares appearance with dagger from same source)
Lamplighter Elite's Staff (unique appearance)
Lamplighter Elite's Sword (unique appearance)
Lamplighter Elite's Warhammer (unique appearance)

This makes them the target of transmog collectors such as myself, and various addons list them as drops from the satchels (I use ATT) and there is no mention that they aren't dropping properly or anything.

According to Wowhead, this satchel has been opened nearly 340K times and yet there is no record of any of those drops in the item list.

The items exist in Wowhead individually, most have no player comments except a few where some people are wondering where to obtain those items, and some (probably oblivious or perhaps trolling a little) saying where they drop (from those satchels...).

What's odd though is that all those items also have Wowhead stats about what players obtained from disenchanting them and how many times they were disenchanted, so that means at some point they were available (perhaps in beta?).

So, has anyone ever gotten any of those Lamplighter Elite's weapons from one of those satchels?

I've gotten every armor appearance from them and the lynx mount, and I have yet to receive any of those weapons after hundreds and hundreds of satchels, so I'm doubtful but perhaps with more people sharing their experience we can have a definite answer about collecting those or stop wasting time on trying to get them.

For some reason wowhead is not tracking more than half of the transmog drops from this bag. I've finally finished all of them so here's some in depth info and stats in 1 place. All of the items are unique (i.e. only available from these bags) golden/purple recolors of earthen questing sets and weapons from TWW S1.

Armor drops:
Warbound sets: Warstone's Warstone's Lamplighter World Set, Flamestonge's Flamestonge's Lamplighter World Set, Ironstrike's Ironstrike's Lamplighter World Set and The Cleansing Flame's The Cleansing Flame's Lamplighter World Set
BoE items for same sets: Kyros's Warstone's Lamplighter World Set, Aevery's Flamestonge's Lamplighter World Set, Azra's Ironstrike's Lamplighter World Set and Nisa's The Cleansing Flame's Lamplighter World Set
BoE only matching cloak: Nisa's Spare Cloak

TWW s1 Delve trinkets:
Most can be seen in "Contains" tab, but wowhead is missing Scroll of Momentum (can be used for speed sets even after TWW), Siphoning Lightbrand, Reinforced Wax Plating, Goldenglow Censer, Vile Vial of Kaheti Bile. All of them can come in BoA@Adventurer or BoP@Explorer variations.

Lamplighter weapons and offhands:
Warbound: Lamplighter Elite's are all warbound. Most have a BoE variation, but some are only available as warbound: Lamplighter Elite's Dagger/Lamplighter Elite's Ritual Knife; Lamplighter Elite's Hammer/Lamplighter Elite's Great Mallet; Lamplighter Elite's Sword; Lamplighter Elite's Great Splitter; Lamplighter Elite's Staff; Lamplighter Elite's Mace; Lamplighter Elite's Warhammer
BoE: Lamplighter's are all BoE and can also be bought on AH. Same thing here, some variations are shared with warbound, but some are only available as boe: Lamplighter's War Knives/Lamplighter's Edge; Lamplighter's Battleaxe/Lamplighter's Chopper/Lamplighter's Hatchet; Lamplighter's Splitter; Lamplighter's Greataxe

How to obtain bags:
There are 3 sources, you can get up to 14-17 satchels per week per character.
1. Defender of the Flame - no prerequisite, takes 2-3 min to complete. Most rares for this quest spawn after Major Keyflames end. But you can also kill Croakit (~6-7min respawn, fish to activate can be bought for ~20g at AH or looted from Kobyss Harvester nearby) or Radiant-Twisted Mycelium (random spawn on long CD)
2. Major Keyflames - see Sharing the Light for a list of locations/quests. Each takes 3-5 min to activate and complete, 8 per week total. Requires up to 20 Radiant Remnant to activate, activates for everyone on your shard for 20 min - you can use it when others activate it too. Quests vary in difficulty. Spiders, worms, lashers and frogs usually take ~3min, harvesters and kobyss are ~4min, flare and shadow beach are longest at ~5min.
3. Minor Keylfames - see Beacon of Hope for a list of locations/quests. Most take 1-2 min to activate and complete, but not all of them reward a bag. Usually 5-7 bags total. You can check it when you activate the flame, bag will show up as quest reward and quests are region wide so no need to recheck on alts. Requires 3 Radiant Remnant to activate and is per character (you have to use the flame yourself). Most are very fast, but some are much longer (mostly from Chef Dinaire)

Stats from 5632 opened bags:
First loot per character per week is always warbound. You will not get ANY BoE items before you loot a warbound. Items after 1 can be either warbound or boe, it's random after.
1 or 0 items per bag. Never looted more than 1.
861 items looted total from these bags. Or about ~15% chance of seeing anything.
581 of these items were Warbound. Or about 10% per bag. This can be manipulated slightly (see tips section).
280 of these items were BoE. Or about 5% per bag. This also can be manipulated slightly (see tips section).
54 Warbound items were weapons. So slightly below 1% per bag.

Tracked distribution of Warbound items for a bit. Out of 151 items (low sample, I know):
37 trinket
20 cloth
29 leather
30 mail
20 plate
15 weapons

Tips

Character class and role does not matter. All bags can drop items for any armor type/role/weapon type
If you want more BoE - do all sources on 1 character (max bags after 1st loot). If you want more warbound items do bags up to 1st loot on as many alts as possible
RNG is RNG. I've usually had multiple characters with 0 loot per 15 bags every week. I've also had a couple with 6 items / 15 bags
Lesser Keyflames and rare quest are much faster than Major keyflames if they are not already up (most likely scenario after TWW). Focus on those if you want more bags faster. It reverses for most already activated Major Keyflames (see times above, activating each one is about 1min)
If you need Radiant Remnant for activations fast - kill all spider eggs and spiders at 66.6, 21.3 (spiders can drop multiple remnants at a time) for ~15 remnants once every ~10min. Or same spider eggs on bridge at 62.8, 28.8 when spider flame is not up (same ~15 remnants). If you need even more - kobyss at 60.6, 17.6 can also drop multiple per mob, and elites will always drop at least 1
I've personally looted every single item except BoE daggers at least once. They are still available
For BoE items - check AH across multiple servers (undermine exchange is your friend). I've snatched a couple of weapons on low pop servers for 1/20 average regional price when I just started
I have 1.4mil Resonance Crystals on all of my characters right now. At least 1m came from this farm. I've had every single item available from these for a very long time.

Opinions:

If you want every single item - don't bother. It took me multiple months of doing the same ~20 quests and around 240h of PLAY time to complete this. This was one of the worst grinds I've done ever, and I had all lootable mounts by the end of TWW
RNG is depressing. I had all items except 1 unique warbound weapon at around 2200 bags opened. Took me 3400 more to get that last one. All because it's rng (15% loot chance) on top of rng (10% it being a weapon) on top of rng (1/15 weapons is the one you want)
If you are insane enough to try it - focus on warbound weapons by getting the 1st warbound item on as many alts as possible per week (i.e. get fastests bags until you get an item and switch to next alt)
You will get some gold as a side effect of this farm. Both from quest / vendor and from selling excess BoEs. It is a terrible source of gold
Selling excess BoEs will crash your servers market. I have a guild bank full of duplicates (220+) and only sold like 20 in a couple months
I have 15600 Radiant Remnant leftover on all of my characters
