This item is also obtainable from the Twilight Cache obtained by exchanging a Restored Obsidian Key with Igys the Believer.

This will enable you to trade with Dealer Vexil and purchase the Flameslinger Rum for the quest A Dragon's Day Off.

Title gets removed on death, so don't die with the debuff, learned it the hard way, literally.

After getting one from Igys, I recommend keeping a backup membership bought for 20 magmotes from the vendor with the mount.
The "debuff" lasts for 2 days and is removed on death.
A good farm spot can safely farm a hundreds, maybe even all 1000 in an hour or two.

When I went to turn in a key to Igys the Beliver the reward was an 'Obsidian Cache' however when I accepted the trade I was given a Twilight Cache so don't read too much into it. Probably just displaying an incorrect reward.

I died and now I cant speak to Vexil anymore so I cant buy the membership... Can't get the quest back from Aizir either and even if I turn in key to Igys it doesnt do anything. Help anyone please?

So I know this gets removed on death, but no one, including guides, realized that once you die you CAN'T BUY ANYMORE MEMBERSHIPS.

Meaning, the best way to do this farm is all at once or with no dungeon content in-between. Posting to set the record straight since even WoWHead got this wrong in the guide. If you die, you MUST get a new membership from the box. You CAN'T buy another one once you have lost the title.

Very frustrated a lot of people got this wrong, Wowhead team included, so posting to hopefully help others.

Also an FYI, it apparently times out once you log out as well. Had it fresh last night. stopped farming at 500 motes to log off for the night, went back to Hub City to refresh AH listings. Logged in today to start the rest of the farm and the debuff was gone. Can't talk to the dealer without debuff. Have turned in 3 keys to the NPC for caches and so far 0/3 on membership consumable.

I have turned in 7 keys so far and NOT received this. It seems to be random. Two members of my party got theirs on their first turn in. None of us had done the quests to start this. I did complete them after we summoned the Morchok but still no Membership.

I’m having an issue where I get zero rep from killing the Sabellian/Wrathion rares (death’s shadow and the spider) and I am also not able to trade with either of their quartermasters. This could be one bug or two bugs or an intended side effect of being a world breaker, just wanted to check if anyone else had run into this issue and potentially narrow it down.

I see a few folks who are mentioning not being able to buy these again after you die. This is inaccurate. The vendor who sells them Dealer Vexil only opens up after you have completed The Shadow of His Wings. I was able to access this vendor before earning this title and was able to again once the title was gone. If folks are not able to click him, it is because they have not completed the quest chain. 4-5 quests and you are good.

Lost the membership when at 900 magmotes because of dieing in a dungeon.

but apparently, you can interact with this NPC once a week which would mean you turn in a key at reset to get another membership and continue the grind.

we'll see if this is correct.

edit: just turn in another key and you'll get another % at a membership

Note that you can buy a spare membership from Dealer Velix for 20 magmotes when you've got the buff. Oh, and don't forget to buy the Honey Snack while you're there if you want the Snowclaw Cub pet.

There seems to be a lot of conflicting information about this item and the associated buff. I received my first Worldbreaker Membership from Twilight Cache after turning in Restored Obsidian Key to Igys the Believer at 32.2 52.4 in the Waking Shores. Using the item consumes it, and grants the The Worldbreaker title and an associated buff for 2 days, allowing you to collect Magmote a special currency for the purchase of six items from Dealer Vexil who is located inside a cave at 34.8, 46.6. These items include the purchase of additional Worldbreaker Membership, Honey Snack, which is used to obtain the Snowclaw Cub pet (details below), Slumbering Worldsnail Shell mount, and Flameslinger Rum needed for the quest A Dragons Day Off. The title is lost upon death, and I also lost it by turning in a Restored Obsidian Key to Sabellian, leading me to believe turning keys in to Forgemaster Bazentus may do the same. It has been confirmed that turn-ins to Wrathion do not. (credit to Lyssa15 as listed below.) I've found it best to immediately purchase another Worldbreaker Membership from Dealer Vexil for the low price of 20 Magmote which drop off any mobs in the Obsidian Citadel area while you have the buff active, as having another item allows you to reactivate the buff at any time, giving you the ability to grind the currency at your own pace without having to obtain a new one through the RNG of Twilight Cache. Note you can also only carry one at a time, making it possible for a second to be in your mailbox if you've opened multiple Twilight Cache, which can also be a nice way to keep a backup without losing bag space.

Dealer Vexil can also be made interactible by completing the The Shadow of his Wings questline. Once completed, you can weekly turn in a Restored Obsidian Key to Igys the Believer, and then complete the quest Same as the Old Boss from Aizir the Inflamed. After turning this in, Dealer Vexil become interactible.

To collect Snowclaw Cub, you need to obtain the temporary title of Honorary Dryad by completing the quest A Dryadic Remedy which you can pick up from Thalendra in at 72.8, 66.0 in Valdrakken and then bringing 1x Honey Snack and 3x Hornswog Hunk to Primal Bear Cub in the Azure Span at 67.34, 18.22. Note that at the time of this writing, the Honorary Dryad title is temporary and once lost cannot be regained, so it is best to have the items, complete A Dryadic Remedy and go straight to Primal Bear Cub to obtain the pet. Blizzard has confirmed that this is unintentional and they are working on a fix, so I can assume this will be corrected, but for now, take note of this. Thalendra now offers the repeatable quest, A Dryads Work Is Never Done which grants you the title again, allowing you to get Snowclaw Cub at your leisure, without having to keep quests in your log.

I dont know if this is a common issue or i just got VERY unlucky, but i went to purchase this, i had something like 530 magmotes. upon buying the item it took ALL the magmotes in my inventory and i was left with nothing. awaiting a response from a ticket to see if i can get back the extras that it had taken

I got this item last night but didn't use it because I wasn't going to be online much longer.
it was gone when I logged back on today, so apparently the item itself is limited duration, even though it doesn't say so.
Next time I'll make sure I don't turn in the key unless I know I'm going to be online long enough to farm.

If you are coming back to Dealer Vexil to buy another membership, consider grabbing a Honey Snack and a Flameslinger Rum while you are there, you are going to need those if you want to get Snowclaw Cub and Spyragos respectively.

as usual I log into wowhead to find out something that should somewhere be revealed in game... on your tool tip would be a good place
as usual on wowhead when you want some specific knowledge you will find it is not forthcoming
what exactly is the point of this item?
is it just some kind of pet based trash?
should I just vend it?

it is suggested that quicker replies are available on the forums....maybe so .... if you ever find them

Twelvekill pointed out that you can unlock this vendor without the buff as long as you complete The Shadow of His Wings. A lot of people are saying that this isn't true but it worked for me. I can confirm this, because during this quest I walked through the cave in stealth to get to Cylgenoth I walked past Dealer Vexii and he was not unlocked. I then ran back and turned in the quest, then immediately re-entered the cave and he was unlocked. Nothing in between. The only reason I can think of is that perhaps the quest reward, Worldbreaker's Charm, from a previous quest in the chain must be in your inventory for the worldbreakers to be passive, and for the dealer to be unlocked. 1 other thing I should point out is that the reason I was lead to this quest is because I first opened a twilight box, got my membership, died with it, and therefore was looking for a way to retain it, so it's possible that having a character who has been a member at any point is also a requirement, or maybe has to have collected a magmote in the past.
I'm interested in everyone else's opinion. Be warned that this has clearly not worked for everyone, but it certainly worked for me.
