Edit: Nerfed as of 7/8/19

The effect has since been nerfed, and using any abilities while the Punchard effect is being channeled now instantly interrupts the effect and activates the Punchcard's 2-minute cooldown. The on-use effect now also shares cooldowns with other trinkets that have on-use effects.

Just used this on our heroic clear as a Brewmaster. Each cast did roughly ~170k damage over the 2 second channel.

Considering how much more that is compared to other trinkets (such as Yu'lons), I would be SHOCKED if this didn't get nerfed. The damage seems insane compared to other trinkets, and being able to cast other abilities during the channel makes its effect on your rotation negligible.

EDIT: Appears to be hotfixed. Now shares the GCD with other trinkets, and you can no longer use other abilities during the cast. Can still move while casting, and it still does ~170k damage.

So today after the nerf and hotfix they put out I managed to do 201k damage in one cast against the Voice of the deep Rare in Nazjatar. Details has it as 6 hits with 5 averaging 29k and 1 crit for a whopping 57k ! So even though everyone is complaining about the nerf on this, it does some serious damage especially when you use it with your cooldowns as I did have Bestial Wrath up when I cast it.

Edit: So I just looked at my overall data in Details that covers my last 25 encounters and it shows I had 9 casts of this and they totalled 1.81m damage. Averaging that out ends up being the same at 201k each cast , so not a fluke that it does that high of damage.

Even after the nerf, it's still possibly the BiS punchcard unless Haste is a huge stat for your class. I received a 425 Harmonic Dematerializer from Mechagon and this punchcard is nealy 800 more dps according to Raidbots. This is crazy as Mechagon is a challenge and the HD should, theoretically, be a decent upgrade in damage, but it's not.

Each tick can crit, so with a crit heavy build this does 2-300k in total, enough to take down many pre-8.2 rares in one go or put a serious dent into anything in Naz or Mechagon if you're alone.

Disc Priests: Cyclotronic Blast damage does NOT heal targets with Atonement.

For fury warriors, this does not scale with Siegebreaker or Enrage Damage Bonus. This is affected by the haste of enrage to reduce the cast time atleast
