in a more serious note i love how they are adding unused models into the game as the island rewards, keep it up, maybe the unused ulduar weapons next?

Awesomeness of a 2 hander but the handle of a 1 hander which completely ruins this sword...I swear to god i could make 80% of all 2h swords in WoW look 10x better if i was working at Blizz.

Looking at the class/spec drops, if I play a survival hunter, this will never be a possibility for the drops/rewards I can get? I have to make one of the classes/specs that are listed instead?

Got it at the end of a Heroic Island Expedition on my Outlaw Rogue. It looks like any class can get it no matter the loot specialization!

Does this only drop on heroic expeditions? Can it drop on normals? Do you have to be max level?

Dropped for* me on my lvl 116 Shaman, immediately got 300k offer for it. I've put it on AH for 500k and hopefully can sell it.

Picked this up today as a 120 prot pally in a normal expedition, there was ONE vrykul rare on the island, I assume that's where it came from.

Dropped on my first ever island expedition (normal) as a 116 hunter (so can drop for any class). Grateful since I plan on maining my warrior this xpac.

We killed 3-4 rares, one of which was a Vrykul so I second the opinion on that as a potential source.

I just received this on my lvl 112 holy priest, on normal difficulty after killing thorvast, guided by the stars, and other vrykul invaders from the tier 3 invasion, this was the second time i received it as it had dropped 2 days before that on my 118 mage. sadly i cant recall the names of the rares on my mage but it was a vrykul invasion. this was on my 191th expedition.

I got one the other day from a NORMAL Island run, we won the run. There was only 1 group of Vrykul on the island with 1 rare. We killed them, and I got this on that run. I was on my 120 rogue.

I can confirm that it can show up on your mission board after obtaining a treasure map form completing your 5ish island expeditions for the week. It is a rare blue mission. It also happend to be on a Vrykul island week, so im not sure if that matters or not. I have been wanting this for some time, I'm glad this method was added in 8.1 for obtaining it.

I can confirm that it drops on any difficulty. It can even drop on 110 characters as I have just achieved.

Vrykuls are your best friend if you want this sword! rng suck but still... I got it from mythic island btw

I just want to confirm that as of 8.3 this CAN drop from Jorundall Salvage. In fact I just looted TWO from a single crate.
