Currently on beta this mount does not require Exalted with Arrakoa Outcast, just the 5k Apexis Crystals.

It costs 5000 Gold (but it will only be 4000 Gold with the exalted reputation discount) and 5000 Apexis Crystals. It also requires you to be Exalted with the Arakkoa Outcasts.

Odd that you get a talbuk from the arrakoa. I'd have expected a Dread Raven but I suppose they feel that'd devalue the WoD Digital Deluxe Edition.

Just an FYI if people are judging how this compares with the Trained Silverpelt that you get from the Stables (for free). The Trained Silverpelt is a PURPLE Talbuk, this Shadowmane Charger is a GREY Talbuk.

Arakkoas are not shown using, riding, or taming talbuks...anywhere. Talbuks do not exist anywhere in the zone these vendors are in. There is absolutely nothing about talbuks that screams Arakkoa. So, naturally, the Arakkoa rep mount is...a talbuk recolor. Thanks Blizz, makes perfect sense. Okay, fine, it's obvious most new, unique mounts are going to be cash shop mounts, but you'd think we could at least get a recolor of a mount that makes sense, like a Dread Lord/Raven Lord recolor...

This mount makes a different sound for the mountspecial command than the other WoD talbuk mounts, it seems. I compared it against my Swift Breezestrider and Trained Silverpelt, which both make the sound effects of the old-world talbuks. This one makes the aggro noise of the Draenor talbuks, more of a guttural chattering growl, which does a bit more to set it apart from the other recolors.

Some information about this mount:

It looks similar to the old Dark War Talbuk mount from The Burning Crusade Expansion. The main differences you'll notice are the horns, eyes and tail.

You can purchase it from the arakkoa outcasts vendors(Alliance: Shadow-Sage Brakoss, Horde: Ravenspeaker Skeega) once you have reached exalted status. On Wowhead, the price shows as 5000g and 5000xApexis Crystals, but it is actually 4000g and 5000xApexis Crystals after factoring in the exalted discount.

You can farm rep at the Lost Veil Anzu, located at in the Spires of Arak, or use Relic of Rukhmar which you get from the rare garrison mission The Bloodmane Scrolls. These award 2500 base rep. Remember, these tokens are account bound so you can send between alts.
