The whole set can be farmed in Scarlet Monastery - Cathedral. Quite low drop rate but no doubt, it's possible to farm.

Got Head, Chest, Waist, Boots and Gloves within 50 scarlet runs.

there is an easier way to get the chest piece. there is a quest in zangarmarsh that rewards a replica of the chest

and if ur not to fond of the head piece like me heres a better looking helm that i think suits the set a hell of alot better

fyi if u dont want to run scarlet monestary cathedral several times and have to stop cuz of the lockout, u can go farm death's step putrifiers ( Putrificatore del Passo della Morte) in eastern plaguelands. there is an area where there are 13 groups of them and they spawn very fast. by the time u finish the circle half have already respawned. just last night i farmed for about an hour and a half and i got the head and the shoulders.

was killing the Death's Step Putrifiers and got the boots first, took 954 kills to get it. working on piece 2.

WOW after 445 more kills i get the %^&*in sheild... trying again for piece 2.

killed another 1211, no drop. That makes 1656 kills without a drop. I am moving to a different place.

Ran through scholo, nothing.

Ran Scarlet cath 2 times, helm, the piece i dont want....

Ran Scarlet cath 4 times, BELT finally! on to piece 3..

6 more runs through cath and i get the boots again...

WTF ran uldaman, got boots a 3rd time!.

After a lot of Uldaman/Scarlet runs decided to try AH it. Today bought last piece (Stivali del Generale Capo). Spent ~300g and ~2 months of regular AH scans.

these pants will be the death of me...

The rest of the set isn't too bad to farm, though it will take you quite a few runs. I recommend switching between Uldaman and SM Cathedral - some of the pieces seem to only drop in Uld, and alternating every few runs will keep you from going insane too quickly. Check the AH whenever you hearth to auction your cloth and greens. I've made close to 3k so far.

I have this set, all but the shoulders. Several Scarlet runs so far and still haven't gotten them!

I like to use Terokk's Quill as my polearm for this set on my hunter!

Farmed the whole thing in about 7 or 8 hours, doing endless Uldaman runs. All but shoulders, which I bought on AH, but I had many boots, belts, and gloves. rng
Plus I sold all the greens, cloth, and boss drops so you at least make some money doing it. I'll upload a pic in a bit

Been running Uldaman now - full clear. Since it takes longer than 12 minutes each run there is no lockout timer you have to wait for...

I have the gloves and the shoulders so far. I don't really care for much else because I am using the Slayer's Skullcap, Ironhide Legguards, Bloodlust Belt (But truthfully I'd like the Chief Brigadier Girdle)... The belt is why I'm even running this over and over. Daggerfen Mail from the Zangamash quest.

I think though I might head over to Wintergrasp and see about farming some Ironhide stuff - seems to have the highest drop rate there for some stuff.

Silicate Feeders have a good drop rate for the Ironhide Legguard's though FYI.

If you like this set but are a plate wearer, Bloodfist Plate (Recolor) looks exactly the same.

This set uses the dark maroon (officially "Black") variant of the "A4 Plate" artwork and forms six pieces of a seven-piece set of the art. Only the shoulders are missing.

This set is also available in plate, see: Bloodfist Plate (Recolor).

While there is art for shoulders in the A4 Plate set, it sadly wasn't used here, or anywhere else that I can tell. If the shoulders existed they'd look much like the rest of the set, with similar red designs around the edges. While there are "Chief Brigadier Pauldrons", they use unrelated artwork and so weren't included here.

There actually isn't any art for a helm in the A4 Plate set. None was ever created. While there is a "Chief Brigadier Coif", it uses unrelated artwork and so wasn't included here. If you look you can probably find something that matches better.

There are three other colours of this set in the artwork database, but only two seem to be used in the game, and only one on a significant number of pieces. See:

Bronze: Bloodfist Plate
Silver: just two pieces: Pettorale Corazzato di Verargento and Guanti Lunghi di Verargento
The remaining colour, Green, is a jade green with red designs. As far as I know it hasn't been used on any pieces

I've been working on this set for my hunter. Does anyone know of a bow/crossbow off the top of their head that flows with the set?

I looked at the coildfang needler as someone else posted, but hate the green in it. looking for a black and red scheme. been looking for about an hour threw the data base here.

Blacksting Shoulders look good with this set and can be obtained from a low level quest in Zangarmarsh : "Blacksting's Bane". This is part of a short chain of quests, so you'll have to do a quest or two before it in the same area as the questgiver, Prospector Conall, who is located at TomTom coordinates 68.4, 49.4.

About helmet, i know this is way later in the game but the red colors fit Perfectly!

I am already using it with brigadier's and hero's mixed set and i love it. Now i need to find 2 fitting fist mogs. The Al'Ar ones are too shiny, the hyjal raid ones are too bulky and slightly offbalance in color red...With some more research some of the strange fists (from AQ40 and Shattered hand) find nicely but i think
Acciaio Cremisi is a good choice too .

Ok final update, as i had trouble getting some older content fists that would fit this set i made, i decided to check the original looks of my current fist weapons at raids and i will be damned if they don't fit the fist is Ultima Risorsa di Piede Soffice

here is a pic from 3-4 different angles..(keep in mind some items are "hero's" set and some chief brigadier's, but there won;t be huge differences when i complete any of those.

Some info on shoulders. To be honest i searched high and low for good shoulders that would fit the color of the chief brigadier set and have also that grey black metal looking color too.
This is what i came up with :
