Seems to me like the whole quest ist for shaman's only. As a gnome warlock I didnt get any quest from Firmanvaar. I could help to slay the mob however - but no quest

because its a shammy quest... what do u think a warlock woud have done with totems?

Why? What was so bad about the way that it was before, Blizzard? What's the point?
I'll assume you understand what RPG means in MMORPG, right? Ok. Now, what happens when you take the RPG elements out of an MMORPG? That's right, you get one (1) giant pissing contest between WOW gear-heads that spans two worlds with no element of story or character development. The central idea behind a Shaman character in World of Warcraft is learning to harness and work with the elements. They drink saptas, communicate with elementals, set the balance of Azeroth and the elements back into place, and go on quests to hone their skills and learn new totems and powers. Just like traditional shamans! Go figure...

This would be nice if they would either remake this quest, and yes give the start to anyone. On my non-shaman aults The "Spirit of the Vale" tells me to go find a shaman and bring them to him. So you should have to go find another player(shaman) and bring them to him then have a support role to play in the actual quest. I think this quest is important to all players, mostly to Shaman's yes but it should still be there for lore and learning especially since all the Questline Npc's are still there, still duking it out and the "Spirit of the Vale (quest giver) is still there as well.. It's not like it's an empty hole in the wall like in Duskwood and could easily be revamped)... (and) Or turn it into an Elemental dungeon/raid "You have done a great service, the restless Spirits of Earth that have emerged have been put back into balance. But there is a larger issue still" (any lvl really) to draw others into the zone because to be honest with the no fly zone even I, playing this race, don't want to be here.. so you miss out on the storyline... Like really, What was a pandarian doing here? The world may never know..
