This quest awards 25 reputation the first time, 5 each other times.

Interesting thing to note is this is one of the very few quests that doesn't hurt your Bloodsail reputation. Hence if you wanna have a friendly reputation with both the goblins and the pirates, this is one of the best quest to be done repeatedly.

this quest is pretty east after u hit lvl 47-48 but it's repeatable. i already did it four different times. not good xp. only 550 but it adds up quick.

ive been doing this to help me grind... the other one that ive found useful to do at the same time is http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=7726 . both repeatable and the guys u need to kill are both in the same area... xp at 46 is pretty reasonable for me. and i havent found tomany horde difficulties...

Confirmed: Both this quest and the Fuel for the Zapper quest are repeatable, but no longer with any XP rewards. Definitely felt like I wasted my time doing them for a second time. The "!" and "?" should be blue after the first turn in.

Just a quick note. The "zapper" has that 2 hour timer on it. After 2 hours, it's gone. Also important is that if the timer runs out on it, and you want to complete the quest again, you have to abandon the quest. You will also have all of the miniaturization residue destroyed. So if you have 9 out of 10 and the zapper timer runs out, you're back to zero.

In my opinion, these repeatable quests aren't worth it.

It's worth noting that like most of the repeatable quests this does not count for the Loremaster of Kalimdor achievement. The first one however does.

The zapper is nice if you want to fish where there are giants. Get the quest and you can fish for 2 hours without worrying that your fishing trip will be cut short by a giant.
Also if there are more giants near you, the zapper will zap every giant within 40yrds... I learned this the hard way, and it wasn't much fun.

This will not count for the Kalimdor achievement. The first one for it might (did it a couple years ago), but the repeatable ones do not.

If you are farming Steamwheedle Rep in DM North, this is a perfect break, when you get locked out of DM due to too many resets.

The 30 minutes lockout is exactly the time it takes to:
- Ride back to Camp Mojache (horde) and sell your loot from DM
- Ride to Zorbin Fandazzle west coast of Faralas
- Get both Refuel for Zapping and this quest
- Kill giants/Elementals
- Turn in both quests and redo both of them
- Turn in both quests again and ride back to DM North

While 4 quests of 25 rep (for each of the 4 Steamwheedle factions) isn't much, it still beats standing outside DM for 30 minutes.. :)

Good thing I looked up this quest to see what crap for exp. it gives. This is great to repeat for rep I guess, but for leveling an alt. as fast as you can -- very deceptive. I abandoned both the quests this guy gave after turning in the first ones.

Killing pirates outside Ratchet is much faster than this. At 5 rep per kill (25 for Baron) for Ratched and 2-3 for the others, you can get about 130 rep with the goblins, 260 for Ratchet by just killing all of the pirates between Ratchet and Northwatch Hold. This makes it so much better than the two repeatable quests.

When zapping the giants as an initial attack, make sure you have your pet (Hunters, Warlocks et al.) on passive or else you will not be able to loot the residue.

both give 350 rep to all Steemwheedle Cartel factions

And item has 2 second cd not the 30 second like before.
