Southern-most island in the Loch is loaded with crocs. If you're a 15-ish skinner, it's a great place to skill up.

The crocodiles love sneaking up behind you when you least expect it, or when you're drinking/eating.

As a level 16 hunter with skinning doing this quest, that southern island was great. I had heirloom shoulderpads/chestpiece and the heirloom bow and my wolf pet.

The crocodiles respawn almost instantly, they all are 14-15 and very easy kills. I never had to sit down to drink or eat. I ended up staying on this island and grinded from level 16 to level 18 in about 40 minutes, as well as skinned up wayyy more than enough to level leatherworking and sell on AH.

I went there with 70 skinning, and they grayed at 140.

The respawn rate on that small southern island means you'll never have to slow down. As soon as all the croc's are killed, new ones are spawned.

Keep an eye out for a rare croc that shows up from time to time.

Descrizione

Many a hunter is attracted to Loch Modan to hunt our famous crocs. There are always merchants who seek out crocolisk skins for clothing items or armor, and there are also some who enjoy the taste of their meat.

We do some trade in this, but not a huge amount, as the crocolisks are ferocious and have entrenched themselves on the islands in the Loch. But don't let me dissuade you, it's quite an experience, wrestling with the jaws of the beasts.
