The Raptor Grounds are located west of Northwatch Hold. Follow the mountains, and to the south there will be a path marked with raptor nests the whole way. The stolen silver is at the end of this path at another nest, guarded by 3 raptors. In my experience, the front raptor can be pulled, so you only have to deal with 2 raptors.

Directly at 58, 53.

Commento di 36862

Solo'd as lvl 16 hunter, stood on top of the box at 58.0, 53.9

Commento di 11253

Solo'd as 16 hunter, stand on the hillside facing north and its possible to pull two raptors. Make sure the pet takes aggro and put out a immolation trap incase one brakes free.

Commento di 48987

This quest is ez. Just walk on the wall with no raptors to the end of the canyon. Then pull the last 2 raptors. Once dead you can sneak up take the silver and walk along wall again to get out and your done in under 5min.

Commento di 37721

I did it as a 17 priest, i could pull the front and then regenerate and take the last two. U don't have to die and then run back.

Commento di 64943

easily soloed as a lvl 18 druid, hugged th wall to avoid unneccesary fights pulled the front then took out the other 2, healed then took the silver

Commento di 66766

Soled this with my 17 'lock, killed the separate raptor first then used my voidwalker to tank the other two while I picked up the silver. Then ran up the mountain and set the voidy to passive so it followed me, neither me nor the voidy died :).

Stick to the left wall as you go round too, the right is more difficult and you'd have to negotiate a raptor camp.

Commento di 70434

I did this as a level 15 hunter. I actually had begun searching for the grounds at 14; this was before I knew that the raptors in the grounds were the higher level Barrens raptors. Luckily, I was extremely close to level and I hit 15 when I discovered the grounds.

Within the grounds, I pulled the pullable raptor of the first group on the right just so I would not accidentally aggro when I ran through. After this, I stayed along the left-hand side and wove around the trees and what have you.

When I reached the final group, I didn't see the chest but I knew it must be there. It is difficult to see from that left wall as it is a rather small chest, but it is there.

Up to this point the chained pairs stationed at each nest had been a 16 and an 18.
I got lucky on the only pair I needed to slay and found a 16 and a 17. I pulled the pullable 16. Afterwards, I sent my pet at the 17 which also drew the chained 16. From the damage I was doing, I ended up with the 16 running at me, which was for the better as my pet was 14 and at about half health. After the 17 was dead, the 16 came down very quickly. I grabbed the chest and again ran out along that same wall.

A rather easy quest, really, as long as you are clever about it.
Good luck.

The box is right here.

Commento di 137943

You can do this quest with the Q Raptor Horns and The Guns Of Northwatch

Commento di 111155

might be worth mentioning its in a chest with the 3 raptors all the way next to the mtn and not a drop

Commento di SockPuppet

Note, the aggro radius of the raptors is shorter than it looks. I partied with a guy who got DC'd on the way over, so I did it by myself, slaughtering almost the whole raptor population on the way to the silver. Then my partner finally got back on, I went to help him complete, and even though everything had respawned we were able to creep around all the raptors by hugging the hillside to the left. Then we just had to kill the 3 guarding it to complete.

Also, you can go up the hill on the same side as the silver after completing, and jump down the cliff rather than going back through the raptor haven. The fall hurts, but it's not fatal.

Commento di 160544

Im a rogue so i just stealthed through but there is 3 raptors guarding it so i had a hard time...

Commento di 212841

I soloed as a lvl 17 Marksmanship hunter. Pulled 1st raptor killed then got to Full health then killed the other 2 raptors and got my 1350 xp.

Commento di kimzky

Easy as a level 19 mage, I pulled walked there by hugging the wall to the left, then I pulled the first raptor guarding the chest, he will NOT aggro the other raptors. Pull him and kill him, then attack one of the 2 living raptors and get their boths aggro attention. Use frostnova and see them be freezed, now run to the chest and pick up the Stolen Silver. *Quest finished*

Commento di 312579

For Druids:

As others have said, stick to the left wall once you are in the Raptor Grounds. (Even easier way: Wait until you're level 20 and have Cat Form and Stealth, and activate both of those.) When you get to the back nest, kill the first raptor, and lure the other two away from the lockbox. Try going up the hill to your left. When you have them far enough away, you can use either Entangling Roots on them or let Nature's Grasp do the work for you. When they're both trapped, go and get the silver, and then get out the same way you came in, by sticking to the wall.

end helped me

Did it as a lvl 15 Ele shammy, using Searing totem, stonehide totem, lightning shield, lightning bolt, and deviate fish which i fished sometime before, these fishes acts like pots, insta heals w/o sitting.
I pulled the 2 linked raptors from the back, eat fish after the 1st kill, then killed the next before healing again and looting the box, ran away after getting the quest item w/o fighting the 3rd raptor :D

Commento di 346559

Soloed this easily as a lvl 15 hunter. As other posts have said you can run around all the raptors but three and just kill them and run back out with the silver. But if you want more experiance I suggest you kill all the raptors on the way as this quest offers quit a bit of experiance if you do so. If you do this as a hunter use your pet to hold the aggro and heal him with mend while you shoot him. Makes this quest extremely easy.

Commento di 352125

The first one was very helpful. But here's another tip:

The Raptor Grounds are right behind the spirit healer west of Northwatch Hold.

Commento di Gumball

58, 53. Easy quest as hunter.
1. Pull the farest raptor of the group near you and kill it.
2. Send pet with mend versus the 2 other raptors (attack both of them for aggro -- growl)
3.Open the box that contains Stolen Silver.
4. Help your pet kill the raptors.

This quest can be done with Raptor Horns and The Angry Scytheclaws...

Good Luck! ;)

EDIT: grammar

Commento di 549001

Even easier way, if you’re a priest: skirt the wall to get to the last group of three raptors… then Psychic Scream them away from the box. Leaves you plenty of time to loot the box for the quest, shield up, and run out with about fifteen raptors hot on your tail d-:

(I managed the entire quest without killing a single raptor. Awwwwww…)

Commento di Metalchic

In the PTR patch 4.0 the mail leggings have become VERY attractive item becaue the spirit becomes hit

Commento di 772024

It's been "un-deprecated" -- its active again - North Barrens -- 64 / 59 for the silver. 3 raptors, but one is easy to pull away from the others.

Commento di chipthamac

For those WoW Classic players, the box is located just west of Northwatch Hold. It's back in an enclosed area guarded by tons of raptors, several of which are chained to each other.

Bring the Stolen Silver to Gazrog in the Crossroads.

Descrizione

You may have killed the raptors, but the silver they stole must be recovered! I have reports that the raptors have a large grouping of nests south of Ratchet, known as the Raptor Grounds. It is likely that they brought our stolen silver there.

Go to this raptor haven and search for the stolen silver. When you find it, return it to me.
