The captian is on the ship furthest from land. He isn't too tough but be careful about adds. The box is on the same ship at the very bottom. This part can be tricky since there is quite a few creatures surrounding it. The box can be hard to see so look carefully.

If you are a warlock/shadow priest, is it better to keep the orb as it is, or still cleanse it? i mean, i'd give 3 stamina for 10 shadow dmg any day

To complete the quest, simply run back to the priest at 10.60. if u dont have coordinates, he is at the inn in Menethil Harbor.

Cleansed Eye now gives only +7 spell power. Cleansing is now a downgrade for all classes, I recommend not finishing this chain of quests, but keeping the cursed eye (-3 stam, +8 sp).

I was able to complete this quest today! Still available in the game!

Be sure not to sell the quest item like I did. The quest will be greyed out and you won't see a question mark at the turn in. I had to abandon the quest (was too late to recover the item from the vendor) and return to the ship and take the quest again from the treasure quest.
