Location is 53,42. It was kind of buggy for me, I had to fly into the yellow dome looking thing then I could see everyone.

Don't be stupid and land on the wrong platform. There's one for horde and one for alliance. I didn't know that, and didn't bother looking at the huge horde banners underneath the platform I landed on.

The NPCs can't be seen until you're inside the bubble, so of course I was instantly murdered.

Don't be me. Watch for the banners!

This quest was really irratating for me. The tower looks just like everything else in Icecrown, and if you are not looking for the Alliance banners you will miss it. Once you approach the tower nothing is visable until you land. 53,42 Happy Hunting

To clarify some of the above comments, you are looking on top of the wall for a big grey tower, a bit taller than the wandering elites in the area. The tower has a yellow dome, and a set of flags (either horde or ally.) make sure you choose the correct dome, or you will be shot down!

Closest description I can give is if any one has seen The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, the tower looks very similar to what Gandalf was held prisoner on.

this must be one of those bread crumb quests - I haven't done it and can't pick it up, but I HAVE already done the bombardment quests - so it would appear that once you've quested on the platform you can't then go back and do this.

Go find Kibli Killohertz. He's leading the reverse engineering efforts of infra-green, at a small, hidden Alliance airport above Aldur'thar, the Desolation Gate. I'll give you infra-green vision to help you find it. Go to the dome with our Alliance banners -- if you fly near the Horde airport then you'll be in a load of green trouble.
