anyone else unable to damage these in a 10 delve ? Am I missing something or is it just yet another bug?

I looked up this asshat mid fight with him after about 2 minutes of doing no damage. He has a stacking buff: Arcane Bullwark. It is a shield that CAN be brought down, but you gotta get it down fast. Stuns like Maim or Incapacitating roar are the only things i found work on a feral druid. You cannont skull bash or kick this one guys. Good luck and plan your interrupts. This one is a marathon not a sprint.

I switched to boomkin on an 11 (ilevel 680) otherwise with Brann tanking and me healing with no hard interrupt I was stuck at 70%. I had 3 lives left because Princess showed up and just jumped to my death to change spec.

I had two of these mfers in my gateway "boss room", killed one by myself (as a 684 Bear), took forever obviously. The second one I lead to the Santa-express lane in the room and that killed him from 70%ish.

Holy skagsuck, I worked out why this enemy is more than just one pain in the arse - I assume it is a bug, though if it is intentional, I hope the dev who thought of it has eternal and very painful diarrhoea.

It casts an absorb shield every like 10-15s (around 7 mil on delve 8).. it stacks, the problem is: if you cannot completely remove the shield either by damage or some other mechanic, EVERY stack gets refreshed to its full value after every cast no matter how far you managed to deplete the shield.

Example:
1st cast: 7 mil shield -> you dps it down to 1 mil
2nd cast: 7 mil + refresh of the first one to 7 = 14 mil shield -> you dps it down to, say, 8 mil
3rd cast: 7 mil + refresh 1st (+7) and 2nd (+7) = 21 mil
..and so on

Just went dying after it reached 210-ish million. (Aye, I can be THAT stubborn :P).
I seriously hope it is a bug and get fixed (reported it), otherwise it is the final nail in the coffin of the super-boring and tedious activity called delves (at least for me).

P.s.: the charge ability is not available for you if this enemy appears in another delve (like it did for me just now).

I have to assume this was meant to be like the fraycallers with the arcane lash speed stack where you just need to interrupt it once or so, but since it's an uninterruptible and pretty hefty as a shield the only real way to do this is either time or stack stuns (war stomp, incapacitating war, swap to cat and maim on my bear druid) or yeah if you got a dispel magic or something I bet this is pretty easy.

Trying to fight this thing as a prot paladin, I ended up letting it kill me and leaving the gate.

Hammer of Justice doesn't come off cooldown enough to stop the stacking shields and tanks don't have enough burst during the brief window it might fall off.

I'm SO hoping this is a bug.

I entered on an 11. I'm on my Blood Death Knight with an ilvl of 689 set tank, but I was alone. I have all my buffs going. (Food, potion, weapon, all enchants, etc. ) Brann was at level 88

I talked to Xeronia to pick up the quest that said to Kill 3 Shadowguard Null Bastion.

I cleared the trash at the first gate and crossed to the center.

As soon as I crossed over, I got hit by a Shadowguard Null Bastion. I spent more than thirty minutes trying to get this thing down. I could never get it down below 70%. I did notice that the Phase Cutter did help knock him down a little, but then he would shield and heal. But there were a few times that it looked like there was no cool-down on it, so I turned around, hit the button again, and that still did not seem to do anything. The first time, I tried for over 20 minutes. I finally gave up and let him kill me. I left the delve thinking it was a bug. I don't know if you all had the same problem, but the shadowguard would keep growing until he was like five times my size. And I was interrupting him regularly..

I did this three times. (Not as long the second and third time.)

On the fourth time, I talked to the NPC and set Brann to Tank (after reading other comments here). I cleared the gate, but then I didn't see any of the Shadowguard Null Bastion anywhere. I was trying to figure out what was going on, and then I noticed the quest, and it now said 5 Drakes Rescued . I went back and changed Brann back to a healer and continued. No issues other than the difference between a 10 and an 11 would cause.

I finished the dungeon in about 30 minutes. I could never find the fourth Nemesis guard. I have seen all the treasures in this delve, so I know a couple of places that it could be, but after this much time, I'm tired and want to get out of here and go to bed.

Cross your fingers, and hope it is a bug!

I gave up trying to kill this guy. Guardian Druid, ilvl 693, tier 11. I just killed the boss while he was hitting me, I got my percentage done to open the treasure room. I just looted all the treasure with him hitting me and just knocked him back so I could click on the copter and get out of there. If you don’t time your stun perfectly you’ll get nowhere. I hope this is a bug.

I am running my second character/first alt, which is my Prot Pally, through Tier 11 Archival Assault.

This guy here throws up that Absorb that just lasts forEVER!
I tried everything I could throw at him, and finally, I think it may have been the Phase Cutter (extra action button) that managed to get rid of it.
Currently item level 666, and just wanting to prove I can solo this Delve.
So far so good. 32% Artifacts recovered.

In the flickergate room, I just take these to the cart train and that does enough damage to remove the bulwark and get them down.

I came across a random one today in a delve and thought I would be there forever or just have to die and start again - turns out the spell is interruptable, and if you can chain a few interrupts (Tauren stomp, Incapacitating roar and Typhoon) it can give you enough time to get the mob to drop the shield long enough to do some damage to it. It still takes a bit of time, but if you can just persist and save your interrupts to chain them, it does help.

Resto Druid 700ilvl (running with Brann as tank) - terrible at solo content 🤪

First time i've come across them as a prot pally and i found i was able to kill him quick enough using Branns Steel Trap ability as a dps, just have to keep running the npc thru them to keep bringing the shield down.
