Welcome to Day 4 of the Twelve Days of Toymas! As we head in to the holiday season and as the initial grind of Shadowlands wears off, we thought it might be a good time to highlight some interesting Shadowlands toys that you might want to collect! All the toys featured in this series are easy to collect for any players looking for extra activities in-game during the holidays.

The
Necronom-i-nom
is a mysterious book that grants a variety of effects. To use the Necronom-i-nom, you need to have one
Vello da Incantatore
in your bags. These can be purchased from any Trade Goods vendor. The effects last 10 minutes each, with the Necronom-i-nom itself having a 30-minute cooldown.
There are three effects you can get by default, and a fourth one by collecting another treasure:

You feel that the words are going to jump off the pages...
- Grants your jumps a chance of knocking you high up in the air. Falling from this jump will deal around 40% of your health in fall damage, but this is a good boost to use with items such as

You feel as small as the words on the pages of the book...
- Shrinks you in size considerably. Be careful, as you can take damage from being trampled by other players in this form!

- Transforms you into a Maldraxxi skeleton.

The world feels as plain as the pages of the book...
- Applies a grayscale effect to your screen! This effect is added to your Necronom-i-nom with the

, which can be obtained by looting the
Scrigno del Ritualista
treasure.
You can obtain this toy during one of the side quests required for the achievement
Visitatore di Maldraxxus
, the
Archival Protection
quest chain. The questline starts with the quest

. This questline unlocks the Sepulcher of Knowledge tower in northern Maldraxxus, and you can loot the Necronom-i-nom toy during the quest

. The book will be at the bookshelves next to
L'Archivista
, the NPC objective for this quest. In case you've already completed the questline and you missed the book, you can return to the now unlocked tower and just climb it to grab the toy!
