The Heart of Darkness Azerite Trait in the Shadowlands Pre-Patch

Until Shadowlands launches on October 26th/27th, Azerite Armor will still be available for use, even in the Pre-Patch. With the lack of Corruption in the Shadowlands Pre-Patch, it's worth mentioning that you'll be unable to activate the Heart of Darkness Azerite Trait in its current state.
Edit: This has been fixed in the latest PTR build to always provide the stat bonus!

The Heart of Darkness Azerite Trait
The
Cuore di Tenebra
Azerite Trait was added in 8.3 and is present on all pieces of Ny'alotha Raid Gear. However, since Pre-Patch is removing Corruption, players will be unable to fulfill the requirements of the Azerite Trait of 25 Corruption, in order to get the bonus secondary stats. This means that the
Cuore di Tenebra
currently
does nothing
in the Pre-Patch. It's unclear if this is intended, but you may want to prepare in case it is intended by having alternate Azerite pieces in your inventory with different Azerite Traits.
Stay tuned to the next few PTR builds to see if Blizzard changes this Azerite Trait to make it useful in the Pre-Patch.
Titan Residuum Uncertainty
When you copy over a character on the PTR, all your
Residuo Titanico
is converted into Gold, similar to when a Battle for Azeroth Season ended previously.
While there's currently no official indication that this would be the case (and it seems like this would be mentioned if it was real!), you may want to consider heading to the
Residuo Titanico
vendor before the Pre-Patch goes live. It is possible to get
Residuo Titanico
by scrapping and disenchanting Azerite gear on the PTR though. I personally think that this is a PTR character copy bug, but it is something that we wanted to highlight just in case it is intended and to avoid players being stuck with no
Residuo Titanico
and a useless
Cuore di Tenebra
Azerite Trait on Pre-Patch launch. Better safe than sorry!
Conclusion
Hopefully Blizzard will change the
Cuore di Tenebra
Azerite Trait to provide a benefit in the Shadowlands Pre-Patch, but if not, hopefully there will be some clarification for whether or not you'll keep your Titan Residuum when Season 4 of BFA ends so that you can prepare your Azerite Armor for the Pre-Patch.
