The Fate of Lady Ashvane in Azshara's Eternal Palace (Spoilers)

In today's PTR raid testing in Azshara's Eternal Palace, the fate of Lady Ashvane was revealed. Warning: Spoilers Ahead!
Raid Appearance
Lady Ashvane is the 4th boss of Azshara's Eternal Palace, but can be seen after you defeat the first boss. She is channeling a Barrier to hold the assault at bay, but First Arcanist Thalyssra tells the raid that there are fonts of magic that can be disrupted to break the barrier. Doing this appears to require killing the 2nd and 3rd bosses -- Radiance of Azshara and Blackwater Behemoth.
First Arcanist Thalyssra:
Ashvane means to hold us at bay. But I can sense fonts of magic close by that are feeding into this room.
First Arcanist Thalyssra:
If we disrupt the flow of those channels, Ashvane's barrier will fall.
Disabled Barriers
Once you disrupt the fonts, you come back to the middle to find the Barrier disabled and with Lady Ashvane asking Queen Azshara to honor their deal.
Lady Ashvane
: We had a deal, Azshara! Give me the power you promised!
Queen Azshara
: Oh I intend to. I merely wanted our guests to bear witness to your glorious ascension.
Lady Ashvane
: No! Not like this! What are you doing to me?!
Queen Azshara
: You asked to be powerful, Priscilla. Consider our bargain complete.
Lady Ashvane is then transformed into a grotesque Sea Giant, wearing the tattered remains of her Kul Tiras armor. Notice the blue sleeve trim on the giant's right arm, and Kul Tiran belt and red trim around her waist.

In the Tiragarde Sound questline, we meet Lady Priscilla Ashvane, head of House Ashvane as well as the Ashvane Trading Company. Early quests in Boralus take us to push back against the Ashvane Trading Company, an organization with notably poor working conditions. As you investigate the company through the quests

Regarding increaesd company presence on site: Rest assured, they are here for your safety. Given the rumors of foreign invaders and spies among us, we can never be too careful. Obey their instructions to avoid any unseemly incidents.
We then travel to Freehold to learn more about the pirates and why they're getting the weapons. As we escape the city in

, the ruler Harlan Sweete exclaims "Enough! You're too late anyway! Out attack on Daelin's Gate has already begun! The Proudmoores are done for! And when Lady Ashvane takes the throne, I'll command her fleet!"
We then try to stop the attack at Daelin's Gate, and when we go to confront her at Unity Square, she fires a pistol at Katherine before escaping via horseback through Boralus, eventually jumping into the canals. In

, Katherine Proudmoore realizes she has been tricked by Lady Ashvane:
So, we meet again. I... apologize for how you were treated last time. I trusted Priscilla like a sister and- <Katherine chokes up for a moment before regaining her composure.> Let us keep this brief, for I will make no promises nor any formal accords in this state. Return to your leaders. Tell them I wish to parley. That is all for now. My people have suffered a great deal today and I have much to reflect upon.
Jaina is still missing at this point, and we learn that Lady Ashvane, working together with the Freehold pirates, was responsible for taking Jaina to Thros, the Blighted Lands.
Katherine Proudmoore says: Fate's End is an island off the coast of Stormsong. The worst criminals and traitors are taken there, never to return.
Katherine Proudmoore says: Only the tidesages can approach it safely, and Ashvane would have had no trouble compelling them to bring Jaina to its shores.
Katherine Proudmoore says: She was, after all, acting on my orders.
Horrified, we work together with Katherine, Greymane, Brother Pike, Flynn, and Taelia to rescue Jaina, as detailed in our
Thros, the Blighted Lands
writeup.
However, it's not yet a peaceful end as Ashvane is attacking Boralus directly with her fleet. Here, Katherine gives Jaina the Lord Admiral's Pendant, in a last-ditch attempt to drive off Lady Ashvane. Jaina is able to find and teleport the fleet to Boralus, and now surrounded by the Kul Tiran fleet, Lady Ashvane surrenders and is taken to the Tol Dagor prison.

Sylvanas then has a plan to free Lady Ashvane (

), who tried to overthrown the Proudmoore family in Boralus until Jaina intervened by returning the Kul Tiras fleet.
Nathanos: The Dark Lady wishes to gain another potential ally in the fight against the Alliance. Lady Ashvane, head of the Ashvane Company, was one of the greatest enemies of Kul Tiras until her capture. We are going to release her. Meet Valtrois in Tiragarde Sound. She and Rexxar are working out a plan to break Ashvane out.
Rexxar and Valtrois will assist us in breaking Ashvane out. They are both uneasy at being told to break out a criminal:
Rexxar: ...but we can follow the Warchief's plan for now. One guilty human out is worth the lives that will be spared.
Valtrois: I still have an uneasiness, Rexxar. I advise caution in doing as one is told, when it is against their better judgment.
Valtrois: However, in this case, you may be correct in it bringing more good than harm.
They plan to break into the prison by disguising themselves as Proudmoore military in

You free Ashvane's men and plant explosives as you escape, which are ignited through Valtrois' magic. Ashvane is then delivered to Sylvanas.
Ashvane: You only broke me out of that cell because you need something from me.
Sylvanas: Very perceptive, Lady Ashvane. I believe we have...mutual interests to discuss.
Rexxar and Valtrois are left behind on the island, with not even an acknowledgement from Sylvanas:
Rexxar: Seems we need to find our own way back.
Valtrois: Such is the way of things.
Valtrois: This war has taken many turns. It seems to me our current path is...perilous.
Rexxar: Indeed, my friend. The Horde is at a crossroads...once again.

In the next patch, the Alliance learn Ashvane has escaped from Tol Dagor.
