Snapping Returns in Shadowlands' Necrotic Wake Dungeon - Snap All Mobs in Necropolis Together

Snapping has made its return in Shadowlands! Players have started to snap all the mobs in the Necrotic Wake's Necropolis down to Amarth's area in order to efficient group them up and kill them. This was originally seen on live servers and has now also been used in the MDI, so it's time to highlight this cool trick!
Necrotic Wake Necropolis Snap
One of the first times that this snap was seen by the WoW community was on
Lepan's Stream
when he was doing a Necrotic Wake key on live. This snaps all mobs from the Necropolis area in Necrotic Wake down to Amarth's room, and groups them nicely.
This has now also been used in the ongoing
Mythic Dungeon International
by the Golden Guardians team.
How to Perform the Necrotic Wake Snap
In order to perform the Necrotic Wake snap, you'll need a Rogue or Hunter for
Trucchi del Mestiere
or
Depistaggio
respectively.
Players normally perform this with the nearby
Animum Scaricato
orb and a
Giavellotto Insanguinato
in order to kill the trash pack before the Orb stops silencing the
Razziacorpi
and everyone dies.
Have your Rogue
Trucchi del Mestiere
or Hunter
Depistaggio
your Tank and take the ride up to the Necropolis alone.
The Hunter or Rogue should tag every pack that you want to snap (usually all) and then die and Release
After a few seconds of evading, the mobs will snap down to your Tank all grouped up!
This snap makes it possible to save a lot of time in the Necropolis. Normally the
Razziacorpi
are the most deadly and are also immobile making it really hard to chain packs together.
This is the first time that we've really seen snapping used to player's advantage in Shadowlands. Will we see more going forwards?
