Redeemed Soul Time-Gated Currency - 5 Per Week in Shadowlands

Redeemed Souls are an end-game currency used for upgrading Covenant Sanctums, which players will collect throughout their expeditions into the Maw. Though while
Animum del Bacino
is much more freely available and used for a wide range of upgrades, vendors, and services,
Anima Redenta
are a much more controlled currency used for unlocking specific improvements within your chosen Sanctum. Because they cannot be farmed freely though, many players have been wondering exactly how many Redeemed Souls they are supposed to have by the end of the first week, and how to get more in order to unlock further Covenant upgrades.
Have any PVE questions about Shadowlands, such as Covenants, Renown, or Legendaries? Ask Sloot in his Shadowlands streams!
Acquiring Redeemed Souls - Starting at 5 Per Week
Although Redeemed Souls are referenced frequently alongside Torghast and the Maw, they can't actually be farmed there. Unlike most currencies, Redeemed Souls are only awarded weekly - five are obtained after completing the first chapter of your chosen Covenant's campaign, ending with the quest
Notizie di speranza
, and the rest are awarded through the weekly quest
Il ritorno delle anime perdute
, beginning with the next reset. That means this week you will only get five through the campaign, and will have to wait a few more days to start getting more. Although Redeemed Souls start at 5 each week, you'll be able to collect more as you unlock future upgrades.
Since they're tied to your chosen Covenant, you won't be able to game it by switching covenants, meaning you can't collect five, then switch to another covenant in order to get another five for ten total. Initially, players who changed covenants found themselves unable to get them again whatsoever, but this has
since been hotfixed
to allow players who have swapped covenants to once again visit their Sanctum and pick up any Souls they may have missed, returning them to five total for this week.
If you've been following along with the Campaign steps, that means you should acquire 5 this week and be directed to spend 1 on your Sanctum, leaving 4 remaining. Most players will spend another 2 on the other available upgrades, for 2 left over before the weekly reset. Next week, you'll be awarded another 5
Anima Redenta
, bringing that total back up to 7.
Spending Redeemed Souls
Redeemed Souls are used for a variety of Covenant Sanctum upgrades, although most of them won't be available for quite some time. Each covenant uses them for four different upgrades - unlocking Anima Conductors, upgrading the Command Table, enabling Teleportation Networks throughout the zone, and enhancing the Covenant specific mini-game activity.
Covenant Adventure Missions
Covenant Adventures are a new style of Mission Board previously seen in Warlord's of Draenor's Garrison, Legion's Order Halls, and Battle for Azeroth's War Campaign. This new system is a more interactive take in which players arrange their adventurers onto a special battle grid from which they use unique abilities to defeat their opponents. While adventures are launched with Anima similar to expansion resources, the Command Table itself also requires Redeemed Souls to upgrade. Rewards for completing Adventures successfully are similar to those awarded from Missions in the past: gold, resources, reputation tokens, experience, Polished Pet Charm, and even weapons and mounts.

Anima Conductors
Anima Conductors control and direct the anima streams to key areas in your Covenant's zone.. Each research tier opens two Anima streams, areas of your map which can be connected to your Sanctum through the old Anima networks, and enable special perks. Depending on the level, these conductors allow you to fight enemy champions, access treasures, enable daily and world quests, or grant open world enhancements available only to members of that Covenant. They also allow eventual access to
Cronache dei Ricordi Perduti
.
Anima Conductor Upgrades
Travel Networks
Each Covenant gains access to a special transportation system, helping players navigate that particular zone. They all work a little different, with some covenants using a portal networks within the Sanctum hub, while others use directly linked networks that take players from one area to another without returning to the hub each time. After initially repairing the networks, upgrading them will require Anima and Souls, as well as the completion of several quests.
We have specific guides for each Covenant travel network, so take a look at them for more specific detail regarding how they work and all the requirements needed to unlock them.

Covenant Mini-Games
Each of the four Covenants in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands has a unique feature, an aspect of the Covenant featuring unique gameplay that is only accessible to members of that Covenant:
Kyrian:
The Path of Ascension
is a boss rush Colosseum in which the players Soulbinds will fight, rather than the player character themselves. Allowing access to Ascension Crafting, special reagents, boss lures, and ultimately several rewards.
Necrolord:
Abomination Stitching
directs you to create new constructs for bodiless souls, granting reputation with the
Maestri delle Suture
, access to special rewards vendors, and many unique collectables.
Night Fae:
The Queen's Conservatory
tasks players with finding
Spirito Indomito
and other wild spirits to nurture within the Conservatory, similar to the
Tiller's Farm
from
Mists of Pandaria
.
Venthyr:
The Ember Court
allows players to host elaborate parties, inviting notable Shadowlands NPCs, arranging the catering and entertainment, dealing with party crashers, and more. The happier your guests, the more
La Corte delle Braci
reputation and the better tribute received upon completion.
These mini-games offer several rewards, including profession crafting reagents, unique armor appearances, mounts, and other special rewards. Some of them are shared between each Covenant, but many are Covenant specific as well, so choosing where to dedicate your time to get the rewards you want (or simply doing all of them on multiple characters as much as possible!) can be very important to collectors.
