Pixel artist MirruTatep creates the most amazing visuals as pixel art and
has shared many on Reddit
. Their work making World of Warcraft zone landscapes is just outstanding. The patience and detail that goes into these creations is stunning; each piece perfectly captures the feel of the zone that it represents. Check these out - you don't have to be a pixel art fan to appreciate the love and time that went into these:
Durotar, Mulgore, and Silverpine Forest
Dun Morogh, Elwynn Forest, and Loch Moden
Teldrassil, Darkshore, and Tirisfal Glades
These classic zones are terrific; if you take a step back they look like paintings. I find myself wondering what the Shadowlands zones would look like with this treatment.
