Patch 8.3 Mythic+ - Item Level Changes, "Bob" Deplete Buff

Patch 8.3 Visions of N'Zoth is launching soon and item levels from Mythic+ will be changing when Season 4 starts. In addition, the "Bob" deplete buff has returned on the PTR, but... there's a catch.

Item Level Changes
Patch and Season Schedule
Even though Patch 8.3 is launching on January 14th, Mythic+ should not be undergoing changes until Season 4 starts. Operation: Mechagon should be added to the Heroic Dungeon Finder on Patch Day, but we're not sure when Mechagon will be added to Mythic+ keys.
Below is a generalized schedule. Specific details haven't been announced but this should give you a general idea of what is happening each week.
Week of January 14th
:
Dungeons are the same difficulty with the same rewards.
Specific Dungeon Changes (
King's Rest
/
Freehold
) and
Class Changes
will be going live this week.
Week of January 21st (Season 4 Start)
:
Mythic+ Weekly Chest will contain a
Season 3
reward.
Dungeons will have the 52.6% scaling factor applied, K values inside the dungeons will increase, and keys will probably decay by some amount (likely 3-5 additional levels).
Complete a +15 key this week for the maximum reward from next week's Chest. Item level will be capped at probably 445 (likely +6) for End-of-dungeon Chests.
NEW
Awakened Affix
for Keys +10 and above.
Week of January 28th
:
Mythic+ Weekly Chest will contain a
Season 4
reward.
End-of-dungeon chests will cap at 465 item level for a +15 key or higher.
Season 4 Loot Scaling
Mythic+ Dungeon Loot will be scaling to +15 keystones instead of just stopping at +10.

Currently, completing a +10 awards 430 (Heroic Gear) from the end-of-dungeon chest and 440 (Mythic Gear) from the Weekly Chest.
Completing a +10 in Season 4 awards gear that is 5 item levels less than Heroic from the end-of-dungeon chest and gear that is 10 item levels less than Mythic from the Weekly Chest. This is in addition to the large
scaling changes
that are occurring in Season 4 as well. If you want to get the same relative quality of rewards as a +10 this Season, you'll need to hit at least +12, but you if you can manage a +15 , you're able to get better rewards than before!
Bob Buff Returns... Kinda
Bob the Fish has returned on the PTR to give you the Deplete buff when a key times out. However, there's a catch... he will only appear in keys that are
Keystone Level 9 or lower
. This seems a little odd, as the Voice of the Corruptor is Seasonal, but yet cannot show up on any keystone that has the Awakened affix.
As previously, he only gives you the buff once the key has been depleted.
