Notable Undocumented Changes in the Shadowlands Pre-Patch 9.0.1

Blizzard has released the
Shadowlands Pre-Patch notes
which document a great many changes coming into effect on October 13th. As usual, there are quite a few changes that manage to fly under the radar, and we have compiled a list of those that we feel are noteworthy. Here are a few more things that you can expect on Pre-Patch day.
The list below is based on our PTR testing. If you come across anything noteworthy when the servers come up, let us know and we will add it to the list!
Classes
The official post mentioned changes to Travel Form, but not one kinda important one:
Druids
now have to learn
Esperto in Equitazione
just like everyone else.
But at least now your
Mage Tower bear form
has a dance animation!
Guardian Druid Mage Tower Appearance Dance
Hunters
can now tame cloud serpents and Forsaken Hunters can now tame undead pets. Once Shadowlands launches, any hunter will be able to tame undead pets if they can acquire a

Character Appearance
Death Knights
: The "Night Warrior" eye customization will no longer available to Night Elf Death Knights. You will all wake up on Pre-Patch Day with your tired old eyes. Sorry 'bout that.
This was reported, but seems to not actually be the case. DKs, enjoy your black peepers!
Possibly adding insult to injury, those splendid
Death Knight hair
colors are now available to
everyone
.

Transmog
There are some fantastic updates for transmog aficionados.
Artifact Weapon transmog
has been opened up so that all specs in a class can transmog Artifact Weapons and there are no restrictions regarding duplicates or what hand you can use them in.

If you happen to be using a wand, you can now
transmog Wands
into other main hand weapons.

In slightly less cool news, the
crafted upgrade transmogs from Warlords of Draenor
is no longer available. But if you were working on these, do not fret, this is a side-effect of the level squish and Blizzard has plans to make them available in a future patch. Check out the news article for more details and a full list.

Potables
The official post did mention that the
Fiasca delle Dieci Terre
experience bonus potion will be capped at level 50, but it isn't the only one. Quite a few very handy potables
no longer function for over 50s
, including movement speed potions, invisibility potions, the oh-so-handy

Watch Your Clever Mouth
QoL and Leveling
There's a rather impactful change to the
Premade Groups
section of the
Group Finder
: you now have to be Level 50 to access it. While this may stop some low level person from joining your elite farming group, or may inconvenience boosters, it's going to be a bit rough for anyone looking for custom groups for lower level activities, like
Alfiere dei Titani
or Elite mob groups for levelers. Could this be a side-effect of
Chromie Time
? A QoL improvement? But for who?
Premade Group Finder Unlocks at Level 50
Draenor Bonus Objectives
have been famous for the lovely piles of experience that they grant. Well, no more. Draenor Bonus Objectives' experience has been nerfed, as has experience for Gorgorond quests. That said, Draenor remains one of the best options for leveling with Chromie Time.

Levelers rejoice, it's not all bad news! You may not be able to join "big boi" groups or zip though Draenor, but at least you'll be able to find your dungeons!
Dungeon entrances
have been added to Old-World zone maps. This is a very nice QoL bonus.
