2-Piece Bonus
This tier set tries to tackle something that has been a thorn in the sides of Mistweavers for a while now; our relatively constrained mana pool. While most other healers have comparatively lower mana costs on their spells, or better, more intuitive methods of conserving mana (like sidestepping the downsides of
Pozione della Lucidità Raggelata with a
Inibitore d'Assorbimento di Pozioni embellishment), Mistweavers are reliant on the few tools in our kit to stave off running out of mana for as long as possible. The strength of the 2-piece set bonus isn't something that can be deduced yet, as how quickly the buff procs from
Nebbia Curativa isn't in the current build. However, the increase to our mana in a given raid fight, while fairly small by itself per proc, has the potential to give us much more sustain in fights that go on longer. While the 2-piece set bonus is more directly effective in raid fights, combining this with the 4-piece set bonus giving fairly massive increases to both our passive healing from active
Nebbia Curativas and spot healing via
Vivificazione, both spells that can make up a decent portion of our healing in all content types.
4-Piece Bonus
The 4-piece set bonus largely incentivizes playing
Tè al Mana, as the standard way of utilizing it is to cast
Vivificazione, our main spammable heal, over and over, finishing its duration with a half-cost
Fonte dell'Essenza for major mana efficiency. Along with
Tè al Mana procc'ing the 4-piece set bonus,
Tè della Concentrazione del Tuono will proc it as well, making
Sorgente di Vita (and consequently ) an appealing talent to continue running for raiding Mistweavers. Outside of
Scelta di Azsuna being a much more enticing pick, there isn't really any difference to how we'll play in Season 2. When the 2-piece set bonus randomly activates the 4-peice set bonus, there will be moment when casts of
Vivificazione will heal more than a given
Fonte dell'Essenza cast, but that's only going to realistically exist in raids, as casts of
Fonte dell'Essenza in smaller group content is much less reliant on its healing and more for its lingering effect on allies.
Feedback
I think that this is the first step to addressing Mistweaver's mana scarcity relative to other healers, and a hopeful one at that. With the only information to base its power off of being the above descriptions, there's a chance for this to be a season where Mistweavers are able to thrive. The determinism in the 4-piece set bonus is also great to see, as buffs that occur at inconsistent timings are the bane of most healers. Consistency is key, and allowing us to gain these powerful buffs to our healing when we want them, using buttons we're largely already using, while still allowing the randomness of the 2-piece set bonus to have an additional effect, gives us agency when playing this tier set.
Ultimately I would like to see the healing bonus extend to more spells, especially since using
Tè della Concentrazione del Tuono as a trigger for the 4-piece set bonus is rarely used on either of the spells it buffs, but as it is, there's not much more I could see done with this tier set. It'll be a good mana sustain and throughput increase in all forms of content.
