Malefic Cores Can Be Obtained the Week the Legendary Cloak Reaches Rank 15

We previously reported that you needed to upgrade your Legendary Cloak to Rank 15 last week in order to receive a Malefic Core this week. However, players who reach rank 15 of the Legendary Cloak are able to
also receive
a Malefic Core that same week.

Our
previous post
on this week's Corruption Post references a
Blue Post
which indicated that you needed to upgrade your Cloak to Rank 15 in the previous week in order to get a
Nucleo Malefico
in the current week.
Many players have found out that this is not the case.
You can upgrade your Cloak to Rank 15 and receive a
Nucleo Malefico
in the same week by completing one of the following sources:
Complete all four objective areas and the boss in a Horrific Vision.
Defeat N’Zoth the Corruptor in Ny’alotha on Normal (or higher) difficulty.
It does seem that you have to not be loot locked to N'Zoth the Corruptor in order to be eligible for the
Nucleo Malefico
drop.

has also been updated. The final line used to say:

Beginning with weekly maintenance in each region the week of March 24, players who reached Rank 15 the previous week will start receiving a Malefic Core from the two feats listed above.
And now the section about reaching Rank 15 the previous week has been removed:
