Dealing with the Necrotic Affix - Mythic+ Tip of the Week

This Mythic+ tip of the week revolves around the
Necrosi
affix. There are many ways to deal with Necrotic that will make your life easier as you do dungeons with this affix. We'll cover some class abilities, as well as a few other things that are more widely available, that will help you in your endeavours.
Mythic+ Tips and Tricks
Direct Counters to Necrotic
There are only a few direct counters to the Necrotic affix. The main way that anyone can deal with it is by using

from being Kyrian, This will reset your stacks, and with the use of the Kleia soulbind, you can use

to also make yourself immune to future stacks for 8 seconds. This can be extremely useful for gathering big pulls and getting threat on them before you have to kite when your stacks start to get high again.
If someone in your party is Kyrian and using the Kleia soulbind, but you as the tank are not, they can also remove your stacks. If they use their Phial and are running the

trait, as long as you are the lowest hp target in the group your stacks will be wiped, making it effectively the same as drinking your own.
The last direct counter to
Necrosi
is

from Paladins. Note that this will make you drop threat when it is applied, so it is important to cancel it as soon as possible to get the pack back on you.
Indirect Counters to Necrotic
There are numerous indirect counters to Necrotic. The most useful is the

, you will find that Necrotic is effectively not an affix in the key. Keep in mind that the shield only goes through the healing reduction, it does not gain any power beyond what it normally has.

from your Resto Shaman. By sharing the health and healing someone else in the totem, you will be able to save your tank when their stacks are high.
Effective Crowd Control
