Alleged Mythic Raid Boosting in China Region Possibly Affecting Alliance Hall of Fame

The Alliance Hall of Fame is closing soon, with 98 recorded entries in the Hall of Fame. However, through some abnormal public logs on Warcraft Logs, players have suspected that there's a Boosting problem in the China region and have been wondering if the Alliance Hall of Fame has been tainted by boosted guilds.
Possible Mythic Raid Boosting
Due to some suspect logs that have been found on Warcraft Logs, players have suspected that there has been a lot of Boosting for the last 3 bosses in Mythic Castle Nathria, particularly for the China Region. Seen on
star gaming's Page
and
Q728's Page
on Warcraft Logs, there are anywhere from 1 to 17
logged
kills per day of Mythic Shriekwing, Sludgefist, Stone Legion Generals and Denathrius each. Each kill has different characters, that maintains a very similar comp with the same tank and healer composition, with only minor composition differences in the DPS.
If you take a closer look at many of these characters on Warcraft Logs, they have minimal public logs of the earlier part of the instance with some not even clearing any previous Mythic Castle Nathria boss, before suddenly stepping up and one or two shotting the hardest bosses on Mythic difficulty: Sludgefist, Stone Legion Generals and Denathrius. Now, the earlier bosses could have been private logged, but when many of these players are like this, it definitely seems a little suspicious.
The last point that suggests that these players are boosting is the fact that these players are from different servers. If you take

and look at
Denathrius Kill 10
, Warcraft Logs has these players listed on the

server. Less than an hour later, on
Denathrius Kill 11
, Warcraft Logs has these players listed on the

server.
It seems rather odd that this guild would be logging multiple kills across multiple characters across multiple servers.
Alliance Hall of Fame Closing Soon
The Alliance Hall of Fame has now been open for 28 days longer than the
Horde Hall of Fame
, but it's looking to be closing soon with
98 Alliance Guilds
being recorded in the Alliance Hall of Fame. The Alliance Hall of Fame closing has been something that many raiders have been looking forward to, as it will mark the opening of Cross-Realm Mythic Castle Nathria, allowing players to invite players of other realms to their Mythic raid.
However, with the speculated Boosting problem in the logs, players have been wondering if this has affected the Alliance Hall of Fame, taking up spots that would otherwise go to non-boosted guilds. Players have noticed that starting around February 26th, but more prominently around February 28th, there's been a noticeable uptick in the number of guilds from the China region claiming spots in the Hall of Fame for Alliance, with 14 of the 18 kills since March 1st being from the China Region.
Of particular note, the timestamp on the
Hall of Fame
website is taken when the boss dies. As Denathrius is exclusively a 10 minute encounter, this means that the timestamps on the Hall of Fame website should be 10 minutes after the pull time recorded on Warcraft Logs. You can see this is true on

We checked over the timestamps of the public logs of those kills on Warcraft Logs crosschecking them against the timestamps on the Alliance Hall of Fame and
found no timestamps that match
with many of these logs being Horde players as well. However, this doesn't mean that these spots on the Alliance Hall of Fame are not taken by boosted guilds, we just didn't find any hard evidence of it. The logs could be private, doctored or actual kills of Mythic Denathrius, it's hard without an Armory.
With the logs and so many of the recent kills being from the China region, it does suggest that there is a boosting problem that may be affecting the Hall of Fame, but there's
no conclusive evidence of how much it's affecting the Hall of Fame, if at all
. Filling up the Hall of Fame could be the main reason these boosts could be happening, or it could be a side effect of doing the boosts for other gains, or not effected at all. But if there's one public log and one group doing it, there's probably more groups, so I think it's reasonable to speculate that some of these guilds on the Hall of Fame have been boosted but I don't think it's possible to confirm it. It's probably something for Blizzard to look into as they have way more data.
This does mean that Cross Realm Mythic Castle Nathria will probably be available very soon.
