ABK Workers Alliance Staging A Walkout In Protest of Bobby Kotick
Blizzard

The ABK Workers' Alliance,
ABetterABK
, has announced a Walkout in protest of Bobby Kotick, calling for community support. This comes shortly after
the Wall Street Journal published a story
alleging Activision CEO Bobby Kotick knew far more about the sexual harassment at Blizzard than he claims.
ABetterABK has called for Bobby Kotick to be replaced as CEO, and has
repeated their demand
for a third-party review of ABK practices and policies conducted by an employee-chosen company - rejecting Activision Blizzard's choice of WilmerHale, a law firm with a reputation for union busting.
In a statement by Bobby Kotick, he claims the Wall Street Journal has presented "an inaccurate and misleading view" of the company and of himself, and that it has "ignored important changes".
One of the changes was to appoint Jen Oneal as co-leader of Blizzard, alongside Mike Ybarra,
replacing J. Allen Brack
at least in part with Blizzard's first woman leader. However, Jen Oneal has since
left the company
and, as it turns out, was being paid less than her male counterpart, highlighting once again the ongoing problem of women at Blizzard being paid less than men.
