Using the item causes your character to summon some forest animals around himself/herself - as well as butterflies, of course. In addition to that the area around the character experiences a rapid and intense growth of grass and flowers. It looks very pretty.

It's a very beautiful display, I got it today. Only downside is the 50 minute cool down which I think is a bit excessive considering how much gold it is (And seeing as it's not as intrusive as lets say the Toy Train Set which only has a 30 minute cool down). I think a 15 minute cool down would've been more suitable.

For anyone planning to macro this into their spell rotation/emergency button, bad news is it has a cast time of around 3 seconds.

So no "shift into tree form + mylune's call" combo for all you resto druids out there

I bought one recently. It procs deer, rabbits, squirrels, birds, butterflies; I used it in BH raid recently and it proced a flock of birds, one with many more birds in it than usual. It is an unusual item and the scene it produces is nice but short for 2800 gold I want a full minute.

Not sure if being exalted with the Guardians of Hyjal drops the price, or Blizz decided to cut us all a break due to the fact that this is now old content, but I only payed 2450g for this item today. Quite a significant reduction from the original price tag of 3500g. It's especially pertinent now, knowing that this will make it into the Toy Box with WoD. :D

If you're wondering how to purchase this toy (or how to even find the vendor that sells it) you need to do a lot of stuff in order to unlock the vendor that has it. You first need to do a long series of quests in Mt. Hyjal (basically most of the quest lines that are available) to unlock the portal to the Molten Front. I had never quested in this area so I needed to do a lot of questing to unlock the portal. Once you unlock the portal, the vendor is unfortunately not just hanging out inside waiting to sell you cool stuff! You first need to do the dailies there to collect enough Marks of the World Tree (125 I believe) to eventually unlock the vendor. I'm still in progress on this but since I'm new to WoW with Draenor expac, I thought this information might be helpful for other new folks! You can find more detailed info by looking at the firelands daily quest page of Icy Veins (can't post a new link when I'm a new wowhead user).

Sold by Varlan Highbough which is a vendor inside of the Molten Front (44.5, 88.6) which is accessed through a portal in Mount Hyjal (27.4 55.9) who is unlocked after completing the quest: Calling the Ancients

The toy costs 2,800g with guild discount.
Also sells the Hyjal Bear Cub companion for 1,200g.

I just wanted to leave an additional note here for people that are returning for mounts and pets that they missed. I had trouble understanding where to get this solely reading the comments.
