Pretty tedious - running around Tanaris for a spread-out spawn. So far, no eggs have dropped from mobs. Just like the quest says, Noxious Lair is the place to go.

For extra added fun, using Typhoon DC's me from the PTR, so that's a little extra excitement to break up the monotony.

Edit: while the eggs do spawn in the burrows, I wouldn't waste time running around in there unless you have to. The eggs seem to spawn pretty reasonably on the surface - where you can use your land mount ofc. I just came out of a burrow and ran into a batch of four pretty close to each other.

You can't carry/pick up more than 12 at a time, ~~so when you have fed your hatchling 11 times you can pick up 12 more. Feed him the 12th and you'll have 11 left and be unable to pick up more. Now to see if they despawn overnight /CrossesFingers~~ Don't bother stocking up on extras - at this time, any extra eggs are removed from your inventory when you turn in the quest :(

first night on live as i flew over from Ungoro i saw plenty of them and only saw one peep farmin' them.... I grabbed them and fed them to my raptor as fast as that....

We're still many on my server Agamaggan, that doesn't know where to get those eggs..

Anyone know if you can gather extra for next time you get this daily? Or do they disappear the next day?

Hmm I just fed 11 and started farming them for next time and was gonna see, but it would appear you can only hold 11 extra, you can pick up 12 but will have to feed the last one to him to finish the daily. Will see tomorrow if I still have the 11 extra.

There seem to be a lot of eggs along the northern wall. Starting from co-ords 38 - 41, go south and in between the group of rocks you will find one egg each. That's about 12 eggs :)

Can be located in Tanaris, SW of Gagetzan (The Noxious Lair)
Egg will be on the ground or in the craters.
Eggs are small red/orange with a sparkle around them or glow.
Many Mobs in the area of eggs.
