The Woodcutters are at 38,26;57,32, around that loc, you can find em there. Drop chance on the Large Femur is high.

Maloric is at 38,31;59,39.
Stand behind him and use the Femur, than loot him.

This item didn't show up in my inventory despite the chat window saying that I received it, and I couldn't loot him again. But I was able to turn in the quest just fine, so not a big issue.

Was surprised to not see this on here already, but even though the quest text is vague, the "Use" text on the Large Femur itself is quite explicit:

Stand behind Maloric. He won't aggro. Right-click the Large Femur in your inventory and you'll stun him, and then the "attack" cursor will turn into a "loot" cursor when you hover over him.
