When doing the daily quest Appeasing the Great Rain Stone for The Oracles (or any other quests in Sholazar Basin, really), summoning Jaloot is preferable because of the buff you gain: Jaloot's Intensity, which increases your movement speed. This gives a bit of a boost when doing your dailies.

Of course, you'll miss out on Moodle's lovable sarcasm, so if you've got the time, maybe you should pick the stress ball regardless ;)

This item is not usable outside Sholazar Basin.

Seems obvious, but not specified anywhere. The buff would be pretty nice in certain situations, enough to skip turning it in to keep. Alas.

You should lose reputation when you throw this away. Afterall, you're destroying his favorite crystal!

So I went a few months without paying attention to Oracles reputation and I apparently destroyed the crystal and abandoned the quests... I've been all over the entire Basin and can't find any quests. I thought maybe it was that I needed my little guy out to get quests and so I went and got him and still no quests for me. Other comments say I need Moogle to advance very far but the only one I can get is Jaloot. I'm stuck with Jaloot and he gives me no quests and neither do the Lightningcaller or the Soo-say guy. I'd really like to continue on with my Oracle rep but I don't see any way that I can. Please help!

(Also, I'm level 80, so it's not that I'm too low for anything....)

you were probably sent to go kill puppy guys but thats the part you abandoned. its near the top of map.

If you are stuck then try going to 42,39 Sholozar and see if there are 2 quests.

Im also stuck with no quests available :/
Im honored with oracles and hated with frenzyheart's and there's no quests in the small camp or in rainspeaker canopy.

If someone has any insight in this matter, please reply :D

Ok I figured it out myself :p

I had to back to Artruis the Heartless at 71,57 and kill him and the frenzyheart dude, then the surviving oracle gave me a quest to go back to Rainspeaker Canopy, after that I could get all the dailies.
