The video linked here covered it well. To see these orbs you need the 2nd talent on the Reshii Wraps "Secrets of the Depths". I have been able to farm eight weapon appearances in about two to three hours of farming. If you want to farm this in the first week I would suggest using a Druid or Shaman for the ground speed forms. You can also click off the phasediving buff when you're far from a Phase conduit and fly back. I've alternating my farm with running the delve in the zone to level up my delves and complete this achievement in the first week.

For the Phase-Lost Slateback:

Phase-Diving orbs require you to be in phase diving and have the Reshii Wraps at rank 3 (Secrets of the Depths unlocked, aka 6 total strands)
There is always at least one up, somewhere, but multiple are around
Multiple people cannot get the same orb
The chance of getting a weapon appears to be about 20%
The weapon is random, and you always get one you don’t already have

I just completed this achievement in about 2.5 hours

Make sure your Reshii Wraps have Secrets of the Depths (ilv 707 cloak) if not do world quests and stuff until you do
Touch a phase conduit to phase dive
Teleport between these four: Overlook Zo'Shuul, Hosaas' Rest, Shan'dorah, and Naakroa Each of these points has 2 orbs that can spawn
Use party finder -> Raids - The War Within, search for parties that are forming for Reshanor, the Untethered to phase and check the locations listed above

Also, towards the end of this farm I noticed that I shared loot with people in the raid finder, so I suspect you could technically make a raid and have people stationed at most of the current known spawn points and farm fast that way as well but I no longer have reason to try. Good luck! ^w^

Beautifulllll ^&* mount. I hope we get more mounts/companions with this effect. I was so psyched when i got the mount and realized it applies the pink glow effect to your character too. I hope blizz overuses tf out of this effect lol.

Go to K'aresh and Phase diving in any Phase Conduit
TP to Shadow Point
Walk to 43.16 21.64
Open Dungeons & Raids > Premade Groups > Raids - The War Within and search for an Auto Accept group in another realm.
The realm’s name appears next to the player’s name after a dash
When changing realms, orbs may appear in the current location — or they may not
Remove the Phase Diving buff
Fly to Shadow Point and Phase diving again
Now just TP to the other portals and check the orbs
Fracture of Laacuna (next to the Phase Conduit)
Shan'dorah (at the nearby dock)
The Oasis (on the boat and on some crates where you access the dock)
North Sufaad (above and below the stone bridge)
Lunnall River (above and below the stone bridge)
Naakroa (on top of the stone in front of the Phase Conduit, and get closer to the stone pillars to see if there's one at 59.41 60.44)
Hosaas' Rest (at the port where there are three docks)
Ruins of Yaathron (right on the steps next to the Phase Conduit)
Shadow Point (go back to 43.16 21.64)

Then you just need to leave the party, select another realm in the same way, and repeat everything

Got this done in about 3-4ish hours. Looted 115 Detrius before getting all the mogs required.

By far the easiest way to do this is to camp an orb spawn point and realm hop to find the ones that are up. I found an out of the way quiet spot where two orbs spawned within a few seconds run from each other to help speed the grind up.

Lots of groups forming to farm world bosses so there is no shortage of groups that are very temporary to join.

Farmed this mount after picking up exactly 105 orbs. I have 78 Phase-Lost Detritus in my bag and 27 transmogs out of the orbs. It took around 3 hours to farm.

To clear stuff up. You cant mount this in phasediving. There will be an option to mount while in phasediving at a later date in the patch.

A note for people farming this mount: It DOESN'T fly. I got so upset that I spent 8 hours farming it, only to figure out I won't realistically be able to use it anywhere. Also, it doesn't have any particular advantage compared to all the other mounts, as you can normally mount most mounts after you upgrade your cloak.

Try to farm the orbs on tall characters because some of them are too high for a vulpera. This means they are too high for gnomes, goblins and dwarves. Seven races are excluded from farming certain orbs.

I'd recommend farming these on a druid if you can.

Go into travel form over longer streches with no mobs, and then Prowl for all the areas with mobs. No aggro and no having to spend time killing the mobs.
This is especially useful for the orbs in Tazavesh, where it's crawling with mobs.

I did one circuit in each area, including the small island of Zo'Shuul. Doing it late at night, I had little to no competition, even on a high pop server.

Half way through, I found out that with the Rank 4 upgrade of the cloak, the orbs can drop from enemies, but I figured I'd just keep running my routes and get it before the season starts :)
Not sure how long it took me, but probably around 5-6 hours.

I flat out refused to join groups for shard/realm jumping. It's super frustrating when you are trying to make a group for a rare or the world boss, and people just flood in, only to leave seconds after.

Camping one location is only really viable if you're doing it during high activity time. Don't do it on a low pop RP server or late at night, because the orbs will not respawn if there is no one else running around collecting them (found that out the hard way, by doing multiple laps on the same island over and over, and eventually no orbs would spawn at all).

Beautiful mount! I look forward to being able to use it in the Phase :)

I earned this achievement in roughly an hour and a half by rotating between the following three spots in Tazavesh and switching servers (either the world boss or rares in custom groups):

Also, If you get an item but it does not appear in your bags, don't panic! Just exit the game and once you relog it will appear.

I dont know what the respawn time is for the orbs but I camped a spot with 2 orbs for over an hour and they did not respawn.

For all the people that are wondering why they dont get the achievment after collecting 27 wep transmogs. There are actually 28 Lost-Claw is not mentioned in the achievment!

This took me around 90-minutes. I wound up with 86 of the Detrito Fuori Fase. Server hopping is your friend. I stuck around the northwest part of the Tempest Field area, there are four that spawn close and you can see them from quite aways away so you can save some time running to them.

If you are like me and find running from waypoint to waypoint or realm hopping to not be your style, my advice is to just go from portal to portal and do a quick round about the area close to the portal, then move on to the next one. I did this during the busiest part of the day and still managed to grab 1 or 2 at most portals. It was fast and easy and kept my ADHD in check because I was moving places so much.

I mostly just ran around the area I could see from the portals, but occasionally wandered a little. I do also run around Tazavesh, but especially going out to the very front where you first come in and upstairs (using the portal inside that front hallway) on both sides. I found orbs reliably in these places almost every time. Not sure if others don't think to go there or what.

I also went back to the island where you first learn phasediving between every big landmass because the orbs spawn there frequently and it's so small it's easy to do a quick round.

105 orbs, 22,8% transmog chance, 2-3 hour grind. Waypoints listed by others in the top comments worked like a charm. i did 3½ "laps" of all the waypoints. I found orbs, i would guess 95% of the times i visited a coordinate. The vast majority was there when i found them. Grinded late night on Magtheridon-EU.

Just got mine today and thought I’d share how I farmed the orbs! After watching a YouTube video that focused mostly on certain already known spawn points and portal jumping, I decided to try walk around to see if there were any others. The first location was in Tazavesh Market outside the portal to Dornogal. The Second was outside the raid portal. While I did eventually find orbs there, they were also the most popular areas on my server.

So I decided to walk around the outer edges of each zone of K’aresh on the map. This includes Overlook Zo’Shuul! I found orbs near the edges. Once I did a full circuit of the outsides of the zone, I would then have a look in the middle, though it seemed more populated than the outside bit. Other places included behind walls, in and around all the ruins, and inside the Tazavesh Market itself.

Check all the rooms, the stairs (though very heavy with mobs in the market). And also check all on the outside and inside of the domes the oasis etc. The orbs also spawn inside the boats so go over and a have a look!

I did do this early morning and night to improve my chances at the orbs, but also found a few during the afternoon. I did this all solo and found this method the best.

Last tip bring a few goblin gliders! Certain movement abilities like heroic leap may not always work when climbing the mountain areas on the outside parts of each zone, but you can glide over to another zone if you see it in the distance. Also handy to try see orbs from gliding! Good luck! :-)

Just in case anyone was as thick-headed as I was about this - you don't need this particular mount to get around faster while phased. Once you hit rank 3 of your Reshii Wraps, any of your mounts will work. It will just take on the appearance of the Phase-Lost Slateback. So if you're a mount collector, keep going. If you were only getting it cos you thought this was the only mount that would work while you were phased, well, now you're free!

I just finished this tonight. I had 18 lost items still to collect. All I did was take the Phase Conduits to all the spots. I only had to do 7 laps to finish up. By each lap about half the orbs had respawned. Shadow point has 3 orbs at once which is nice. I was also in War Mode so nobody seemed to be collecting at this point.

I recommend trying to find some Xy'bucha Slegata while in untethered space. It helped me get them all in around an hour as you can just run away from mobs with your 275% speed increase. Just circle each the islands with the coordinates posted in here. By the time you do a full round they should have respawned.

The achievement for this mount took me 3-4 hours and 2 and a half laps through the Karesh zones. I was using the provided TomTom coordinates mentioned here by MelodieX. Completely avoided Tazavesh since there are so many mobs there, which make looking for orbs really annoying. One of the laps I did was with Warmode On.

10 had cosmetics

Lap 2 (WM on)
37 orbs overall
7 had cosmetics

Lap 3 (WM off) - this was half a lap since I got the achievement midway, and also my most successful one

It's rather annoying that this mount automatically replaces most other mounts while phase-diving. I typically exit phase-diving by right-clicking the buff away, and usually flying away immediately after. But for some reason, aside from this being a ground mount and unable to fly anyway, I also get dismounted when I exit phase-diving while riding this thing. I kind of wish I could go back to not having this one because it just makes the phase-diving experience worse.

If you log out on the mount with the active Maschera dell'Esploratore Fasico, when you log back the mount won't have the effect. It will appear normally colored and slightly transparent until you dismount. I uploaded a screen about it.

For anyone thinking of doing this, please for the love of god use some Xy'bucha Slegata while looking for orbs. I did about 5 full laps before I learned about this item. Was a breeze after that. :)

Did this achievement in 30 minutes with 2 full rounds of the zone. I highly suggest you get your hands on Xy'bucha Slegata
This makes it super easy to run around and pick up the orbs without dealing with the mobs.
