Besides making these shipments for the quest, do they have any other use?

Spent a bit of gold and got a couple weeks worth of the cloth shipment (cheapest) of goods. Upon going to it, they shipments are 'unique 5' so basically they know you'll want to stock up on the cheap weeks, so they limit you to how many you can carry.
