Be very very careful with what options you select, you do not get additional foils on alts and its possible to waste them and not be able to get all of the achievements and unlocks.
Edit: should be fixed now, you can talk to the machine to get back any items that were eaten.

Is there a way I can use a script macro to check if I have interacted with a specific foil? I am certain I've found all available ones but still missing 2 according to complete the achievements

I had the 2 foils missing thing because my letter was super late etc. However this morning when I ran

If you have all the toys, don't pick up again Mizzen quest to Find a Rumble Coin. This would set-up the machine to only accept a coin and so prevent you from upgrading a toy even if you have the foil in your inventory.

If you have foils but cannot trade them at the machine: wait a little bit.

There's some weird stuff going on in the background with certain eligibility triggers flagging and unflagging, but at some point (for me it was around 4 minutes) the background shenanigans should make the turn-in quests available again.

Are you like me and frustrated you can't find the one foil in ORG you are missing based on the scripts?
I was missing the one in Durotar next to the zeppelin tower.

If you had one of your foils or coins eaten by the machine, just talk to it again and it should spit it back out for you now.

So I did open a ticket about missing some achievements due to basically doing stuff in wrong order

Ive got this answer today:

"The Warcraft Rumble Machines in Valdrakken, Stormwind and Orgrimmar are now equipped to detect if you’ve earned a Warcraft Rumble Toy but don’t possess it, or if you’ve used your Rumble Foils to gain new looks for your toy but didn’t get the new look.

Now, if you interact with a Rumble machine, it will give you a toy if you’re missing one. It will also reward you with a Rumble Foil if you lost one while trying to upgrade your toy’s look.

If you lost more than one (toy or new foil), then interact with the Rumble machine again."

TLDR: If ure missing something despite collecting all coins and foils, just interact with the machine, it will give you stuff ure missing. It works.

So I'm a smudge confused. I have all the achievements for collecting all 7 minis and upgrading them twice. If there's 14 foils and 7 coins obtainable to get all achievements, I'm puzzled as to how I have two spare foils?

edit: Anyone know what happens with the rumble machine when you collect all 7 coins? My machine is still asking for another coin (but I already have all 7 minis upgraded twice)

a lot of my alts cant see them. assume I need to reset UI. Thing is, it's a PITA annnnd I just did it for another problem. Often when there's a problem, Blizz suggests an add on. On the other hand that same damn add on could be causing a problem. And the cherry on top is - IMHO the RF isn't worth the hassle of resetting UI a- fing- gain.

Note that, as the Foils are Bind to Account, it is easier to create a Level 1 alt for the opposite faction (if you don't already have a character) and use that to collect the items and simply mail them to your Main.

To prevent the bug for occurring it is recommended to obtain ALL coins and ALL foils and complete things in the following order:

Exchange a Coin for a Box
Open the Box and Learn the Toy
Complete "New Look" using a Foil
Complete "Even Newer Look" using another Foil

Repeat those steps until you obtain all. Doing them one by one seems to prevent the bug from occurring.

If it has bugged for you, then there's been a fix. Click on the machine and it should enable you to complete (check your bags).
