They will despawn when looted, but respawn if you destroy or use them in a wrong location.

Saltatore Rosato is a reward for opening Ostaggio dei Drospi Cornuti Nascosto treasure in Sponde del Risveglio.

This treasure is a tricky to access. You can't get to it because of Drospo Cornuto Possessivo blocking the entrance.
You need to find and combine 3 items to make Drospo Cornuto Possessivo run away so you can enter.

Osso Ben Conservato can be found at 66.20 55.26 in the broken tower. Fly onto the roof and search the top floor for the bone.
Saponetta Perduta dell'Avventuriero can be found at 39.60 84.70. There is a small wooden bath, check it for the soap.
Premio della Marmosona can be found at 47.75 83.60. There is a tent, check out the crates behind it.

After collecting all 3 travel back to the Drospo Cornuto Possessivo and combine items to make "Dolcetto" dell'Enigma Attento. Feed it to the "frog". Solved!
If you can't find any item at the providing spot, it must be picked up already, wait for respawn.

Respawn on the chest is about 5 minutes. If you get into the cave and nothing is there, just wait.

Not sure if this is the intent but I thought, "Treasures held by one who croaks?" was for us to die and then just respawn inside of the cave.

Important note for completionists: Whilst you can die and respawn inside the cave to collect the pet reward, this will NOT give credit for the Adventurer achievement, and will also make the Guide Book disappear. However, you can still collect the 3 items and combine them so long as you are in front of the cave, and make the frog leave as normal, which will grant credit for the achievement

I obtained this pet by getting into the cave by using the mining power Overload Elemental Deposit on a Titan-Touched node. Teleported me right into the cave, no puzzle needed!

To get past Drospo Cornuto Possessivo you need to combine three items, they are located south of Sponde del Risveglio.

One Osso Ben Conservato you can find on the upper tower ruins in the Life Vault Ruins.
You can find one Saponetta Perduta dell'Avventuriero in the Wild Preserve at the camp in a vat of water down by the river.
You can find the Premio della Marmosona, a banana, in the Dragonscale Basecamp in a small box, behind the tent, next to the flight master.

Fly back to Drospo Cornuto Possessivo and go to the rock on which the open book Manuale Pratico per gli Indovinelli lies.
Combine the items together by right clicking on one of them and you will get "Dolcetto" dell'Enigma Attento. Throw this to Drospo Cornuto Possessivo and the big frog will hop away. In the cave you can now open the box Ostaggio dei Drospi Cornuti Nascosto and you will get the Saltatore Rosato Saltatore Rosato.

Went afk right outside the cave and got killed by the opposing faction.
It was a blessing in disguise because who knew, you could just spawn in the cave and loot it!
