Technique: Draconic Treatise on Jewelcrafting is learned by choosing the Archiving specialization of inscription. Once choosing Archiving you will need to use 10 points toward the Shared Knowledge trait before you can learn the Draconic Treatises trait. After learning the trait, you can craft Draconic Treatise on Inscription which then has a chance to learn the other treatises. Each further treatise you choose has a random chance of teaching you a new treatise recipe.

Is there any way of checking if a character has used one of these? (because multiple alts and mostly poor memory)

Other than buying one more and seeing what happens, of course.

The discovery chance for this one is insanely low. I've made over 200 of other Treatises but this particular one still eludes me. And I'm fully maxed in Archiving, Shared Knowledge and Draconic Treatises. Very frustrating.
